Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Superstar

"Of course—to destroy you superheroes."Supergiant's voice was dripping with mockery and arrogance as she paced slowly through Stark Tower, her cold gaze fixed on Andre and Electro.

Waves of psychic energy surged toward them.

Andre clenched his teeth, eyes shining with determination. As a telekinetic hero, he could feel the immense and dangerous power radiating from this enemy. Electro's body crackled with electricity, ready to strike at any moment.

Supergiant sneered and lunged at Andre, attempting to invade his mind with her psychic control and strip away his willpower.

Andre fought back fiercely, matching her psychic onslaught with his own telekinetic willpower. The two battled in a realm of heightened perception—where their minds collided in a storm of invisible power.

Meanwhile, Electro unleashed a surge of electricity, sending arcs of lightning snaking through the air to trap Supergiant and weaken her movements. Bolts of energy filled the hallways of Stark Tower, forming a wall of crackling defense.

Supergiant dodged gracefully, using her telepathy to read Electro's thought patterns and predict his attacks. She was trying to disrupt his control over electricity and dismantle his strategy.

"What an interesting scene."

Electro grinned, impressed by her power and precision. He adjusted his tactics, searching for a weakness—but her movements were sharp, her mind sharper.

Andre held his ground, resisting her psychic invasion. Memories and emotions flashed through his mind as he tried to lure Supergiant into a mental trap of his own making.

"You can't defeat us!" Andre shouted with conviction.

"Really? Then let's see you try," Supergiant hissed. Her slender figure radiated a dark charm, like a rose blooming in shadow, beautiful yet deadly. Her eyes glowed as she probed deeper into Andre's mind, trying to tear down his defenses.

"Looks like you underestimated me."

Electro charged up again, forming a massive lightning beam that bound Supergiant and froze her in place.

"Now, Andre!" Electro shouted.

Andre seized the moment—his telekinetic force surged, blasting Supergiant backward. He then manipulated nearby debris, turning shards of metal and glass into deadly projectiles that rained toward her.

Supergiant staggered, forced to retreat under the combined assault. She felt Andre's growing strength and grit her teeth.

"I see… I misjudged him," she muttered, glancing briefly at Electro before regaining her composure.

Focusing her power again, she unleashed a far more intense psychic wave, attempting to break Andre's mind entirely.

But Andre was no longer fighting alone. Electro's power flared, forming a barrier of lightning that resisted her psychic waves.

Sensing the lethal danger radiating from Electro, Supergiant quickly sent out a psychic pulse, shattering the barrier and leaping backward.

Andre pressed the advantage, sending a telekinetic storm of debris hurtling at her like a volley of arrows. Supergiant had to dodge frantically, her confidence faltering as she felt the sheer force of his will.

"You weaklings think you can challenge me?" Supergiant spat, her tone filled with disdain. "You're nothing but insects."

Electro narrowed his eyes, his electricity intensifying into concentrated beams that streaked toward her, each blast tearing through the air with destructive power.

Supergiant tried to block them—but the lightning broke through her defenses, striking her and erupting in an explosion of energy.

She was driven back, wounded, but not defeated. Her eyes glowed once more as she rose into the air, unleashing rippling waves of psychic force that threatened to crush the minds of both heroes.

Electro darted aside, avoiding the waves in a blur of lightning. Under their cover, he rushed in close, his fist crackling with lethal voltage.

"Your control doesn't work on me!"

His punch connected with a thunderous impact, sending Supergiant crashing into a wall in a burst of sparks and psychic backlash.

Andre followed up instantly, shielding them both with telekinesis and binding Supergiant in place.

Whoosh—whoosh—whoosh—

Suddenly, arrows of dark energy shot toward them.

"Watch out!" Electro shouted, forming a shield of lightning to block the incoming attack.

"You won't capture me," a masked man in a black sorcerer's robe said coldly, appearing beside Supergiant.

"That's not up to you," Andre replied, hurling shards of metal and debris at him with a wave of his hand.

The man pressed his palms together.

Behind him, five pentagrams appeared in midair—each one opening into a swirling black portal that oozed with darkness.

"What is that?" Andre and Electro exchanged a grim look—they both felt an even more sinister energy than what they'd faced before.

From the portals burst five dark octopus-like creatures, lunging toward them.

Andre and Electro immediately went on the defensive.

Andre hurled massive chunks of metal at the creatures, while Electro fired arcs of lightning to block their advance.

But the dark entities were relentless, their tentacles glowing with an eerie black energy as they pressed in.

Realizing brute force wasn't enough, Andre focused his mind and unleashed a massive telekinetic shockwave. The blast sent the creatures shrieking backward—but not destroyed. They regrouped, circling again.

Electro responded with a lightning chain that wrapped around the black-robed sorcerer himself, crackling with lethal voltage.

The sorcerer's dark energy shield absorbed the blow, however, leaving him unharmed.

The five dark creatures attacked again, faster and stronger. Andre struck back with wave after wave of telekinetic force until, at last, he managed to drive them off.

Electro unleashed a blinding surge of lightning that ensnared the creatures and tore them apart.

When the smoke cleared—Supergiant and the black-robed man were gone.

"They escaped!" Andre growled, eyes filled with fury.

"It's our mistake," Electro said grimly.

They looked around—the interior of Stark Tower was in ruins, smoke and debris everywhere. The realization hit them hard: the attack wasn't just about them. It was part of something bigger.

Elsewhere, after the battle aboard the Helicarrier and Loki's defeat, the Avengers had begun to regroup—united by the loss of Agent Coulson.

But soon came another alert.

"The battle might not be over," Maria Hill said gravely. "Stark Tower just reported a fight."

"What?" Everyone turned to her in confusion.

"What happened?" Tony asked, but before she could reply, JARVIS's voice chimed in:

"Sir, a call from Miss Potts."

"Put her through."

Pepper Potts' voice came over the comms, urgent but steady:"Tony, a blue-skinned man attacked the tower. Luckily, Super V and Electro were here. Don't worry—we're safe with Happy."

Tony's expression hardened. "Pepper, stay alert. I'm on my way."

He turned to the others. "Everyone, I'm heading out first."

With that, he launched into the air—Iron Man streaking toward Stark Tower at full speed.

When he arrived, the building was filled with smoke and rubble.

"Hey, over here, Iron Man."

Tony turned toward the voice.

"Super V. Electro."
