Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Avengers 1 Opening

Loki stood in the city square, displaying his dark power and thirst for domination. The people, overwhelmed by his presence and majesty, trembled and fell to their knees, expressing their fear and awe.

All around lay destroyed police cars and heavily wounded officers.

Standing high above the crowd, Loki looked down from his platform. Dressed in his elegant green robes and wearing his horned crown, he exuded an aura of irresistible power and authority.

Loki raised his scepter and declared coldly:

"Humans, you have always been weak and insignificant. Today, I, Loki, have come to your world to bring a new order and unity. From this moment on, you shall kneel before me. I will be your ruler—your god."

"You no longer need freedom or choice, for you are incapable of controlling your own lives. Your chaos and incompetence will be governed by me. I will lead you to a better future."

"Kneel, humans! Submit to me! Show me your loyalty and reverence. Obey my will, and I shall grant you power and protection, freeing you from pain and suffering."

"Those who defy me will face severe punishment. Your resistance is meaningless. My power is beyond your comprehension, and any challenge will be crushed."

"It is time to accept your fate and my rule. You will be my slaves, my playthings, my conquests. The world will bow to me forever!"

"Humans, I am Loki—your new master, the embodiment of your nightmares. From this moment on, your destiny belongs to me. Now kneel… and submit!"

Meanwhile, the agents and officers under Loki's control knelt on one knee, striking their chests with their right fists in salute.

Loki stood tall at the center of the square, proclaiming his rule—when suddenly, a flash of golden light appeared. Iron Man landed in front of him.

Tony Stark raised an eyebrow at the green-clad god and said with a smirk, "Wow, look at you, Green Cape Guy. I thought there was a carnival going on here."

Loki glanced coldly at him, disdain in his eyes. "Who are you to interfere with my grand design?"

Tony shrugged with a grin. "I'm a billionaire with style—and the world's sexiest superhero: Iron Man. Haven't heard of me? You must've missed a few headlines, Green Horns."

Loki frowned; he wasn't used to being mocked. He sneered. "Ah, you must be the arrogant one I've heard about. To me, you're nothing but a mortal."

Tony chuckled. "Oh really? Don't be fooled by my charming looks—I'm also a genius. Let me give you a quick lesson in technology."

Loki's eyes narrowed. "You think your armor can stop me? Foolish mortal."

Tony smirked. "Oh, I don't dream, Loki. I build things. And I'm about to teach you something about respect and justice."

The battle erupted. Loki swung his scepter, unleashing lightning bolts and energy blasts. Iron Man dodged nimbly, firing repulsor beams in counterattack.

Illusions and explosions filled the air, but Iron Man's armor held strong. He soared above, launching missiles and lasers while Loki retaliated with spells and illusions—the clash painting the city with light and fire.

Tony taunted, "That's your illusion trick? Please, I've seen better holograms."

Loki snarled, "You think you can defeat me? I am a god, and you are but a toy!"

Tony smirked. "Yeah, maybe. But I'm a toy with free will, courage, and creativity. You, Loki, are just a clown with a superiority complex."

Their fight intensified. Despite Loki's magic, Iron Man's technology and tactics gave him the edge. Finally, a powerful repulsor blast sent Loki crashing to the ground.

Tony stood over him. "You think fear makes you a ruler? God or not, you can't privatize peace without going through Iron Man."

BOOM! BOOM!

Thunder rumbled across the sky.

"Hah, that annoying guy's here," Loki said, suddenly calm.

"What do you mean?" Tony asked, sensing a strange pressure.

Loki smiled. "You'll see."

CRACK!

A figure appeared between them.

"Iron Man, hand Loki over to me," said Thor in a booming voice.

Tony looked puzzled and turned to Loki. "Who's this guy?"

"My brother, Thor," Loki replied with a faint smirk.

"Thor? The god of thunder?" Tony muttered, watching Jarvis pull up Norse mythology on his screen. He approached Thor and said provocatively, "This isn't Asgard, sunshine."

Thor stood tall and dignified. "I am Thor, God of Thunder. Show some respect."

Tony scoffed. "Respect? I'll need to see something worth respecting first."

The tension grew. Thor suddenly unleashed a burst of lightning around Iron Man, whose armor immediately activated full defense mode.

They clashed—lightning against lasers, hammer against repulsors—each blow shaking the ground.

"Director, we can't just sit and watch. The Council wants us to intervene," Coulson said aboard the Quinjet.

"Wow, even the Council's calling now? You really have connections," Nick Fury said dryly.

Coulson replied anxiously, "Just the secretary, sir. But yes, they're watching."

"How's the Captain?" Fury asked Natasha.

"I'm fine," came Steve Rogers' calm voice over comms.

"Good. Then get in there and stop this mess. Bring the 'god' in." Fury ended the call.

Coulson turned—only to find the Captain already gone.

Natasha smirked.

In the middle of the chaos, Captain America appeared between Thor and Iron Man, his red, white, and blue uniform gleaming, shield in hand.

"Stop this! Enough!" he ordered firmly.

Tony blinked at the sight of the man in old-fashioned spandex. "Well, look who it is—the Savior himself. Nice cosplay, Cap."

Steve replied evenly, "This isn't cosplay, Tony. I'm Captain America."

Tony grinned. "Really? You might wanna update your wardrobe, Grandpa. That style's been dead for decades."

Despite the sarcasm, Steve remained calm. "Tony, this isn't about us. The Earth faces a crisis. We need to work together."

Tony smirked. "Work together? Oh, I get it. You need my tech to make up for that antique shield of yours."

Steve's expression hardened, but his tone stayed steady. "Now's not the time to argue. Unity is our only chance."

"Are you two done bickering?" Thor interrupted impatiently, raising his hammer. "You seem to have forgotten that I'm still here!"

"Enough!" Captain America shouted, blocking Thor's lightning strike with his shield. "We're on the same side!"

Thor glared. "Who are you to interfere in our fight?"
