The First Princess of the Jioral Kingdom—Flare Arlgrande Jioral.
When she came into Takumi's view, the first thing that caught his eye was her soft, peach-colored hair swaying gently in the light.
Her face was exquisitely beautiful, framed by gentle contours and highlighted by those brilliant green eyes that seemed capable of seeing straight through a person's soul. Her royal attire, elegant and ornate, perfectly accentuated her voluptuous figure.
The crisp white blouse struggled to contain her ample chest, while her slender waist curved in such a way that it begged to be held. Below that, her skirt flared just enough to reveal the smooth lines of her long, shapely thighs wrapped in white thigh-highs.
Noble. Alluring. Untouchable.
Anyone who laid eyes on Flare would inevitably think—"She's the kind you can only admire from afar."
Takumi's [Jade Eye] flickered faintly, revealing her full status panel before him:
[Name: Flare]
[Class: Mage]
[Level: 25 (Intermediate)]
[Traits: Chosen Hero (Gold), Hero of Magic (Purple), Elemental Mage (Purple), Blessed by Fortune (Blue)]
[Hero of Magic] (Purple): A hero with an innate mastery of the arcane, able to easily comprehend any form of magic.
[Elemental Mage] (Purple): Possesses all elemental affinities; elemental spells gain tremendous power.
[Blessed by Fortune] (Blue): Fortune smiles upon you—disaster turns to luck.
"No wonder she's the heroine," Takumi murmured. "Her stats crush Anna's several times over."
Even with Anna's level now matching Flare's thanks to their… bed training, their battle power remained worlds apart.
Flare, combined with her divine staff Vanargand, could likely rival—if not surpass—some high-class demons.
There's no comparing the blessed and the unblessed.
As Takumi examined her, Flare's gaze met his. Among the villagers, he stood out sharply—his modern casual clothing a blatant contrast to this medieval world.
The moment their eyes locked, Flare instinctively sensed it: he's the new Hero I came for.
"Today, I've come to welcome the newly awakened Hero born in this village!" she announced proudly, pointing her pale hand toward him.
"You there—my destined companion!"
Every villager turned in unison to look.
Takumi simply nodded without expression and walked forward. "Let's go."
That was all he said as he stepped into the carriage.
Flare froze, smile twitching. What… what kind of attitude is that, you commoner!?
Inside, she seethed. But on the surface, she maintained her royal smile. "Ahaha~ such a cold response. Are you shy, perhaps?"
Her knights exchanged confused glances. None dared comment, especially as their princess—the proud Princess Flare—began acting like a fawning admirer.
She dismounted her unicorn and entered the carriage after him.
Seated across from Takumi, Flare's voluptuous body was impossible to ignore. A single downward glance from him revealed that dangerous, inviting abyss framed by the edge of her blouse.
Worthy of a princess indeed—she's built like royalty.
Keeping her composure, Flare tried to keep the conversation going. "What's your name, my partner?"
"Takumi," he said flatly.
They exchanged a few perfunctory words before silence swallowed the carriage.
Soon, Flare began to question her own sanity.
Wait a minute—who's supposed to be the noble here?
He was a commoner, yet she was the one choosing her words carefully, afraid of upsetting him.
What the hell is wrong with me…?
Suppressing the uneasy instinct that told her to fear him, Flare forced a smile and took out a sheet of identification parchment. But when the appraisal result appeared, her entire body stiffened.
[Level: 99]
[Class: Healing Hero]
"What the hell…?"
She blinked, then quickly tossed the parchment aside. It had to be broken.
Takumi watched her reaction with an amused smirk. "Is something wrong, Princess Flare?"
Gulp.
For some reason, her chest tightened. She forced a laugh.
"N-no, it's nothing. The parchment must be defective. So you're a Recovery Hero, huh? That's… impressive."
Inside, she sneered. A Healing Hero? How useless. The weakest of the four classes—fit only for healing others, not fighting.
Still, the kingdom could make use of him. Even a useless hero was a valuable tool for the Jioral crown.
After that, Flare stopped speaking altogether, and Takumi was content to let the silence stretch.
…
By the time they reached the royal palace, he hadn't even been granted an audience with King Prome.
Flare reported his class, and they immediately assigned him to "heal" the kingdom's greatest swordswoman—Kureha Clyret.
He was placed in a luxurious bedroom where a line of stunning women waited outside, like courtesans awaiting a turn. Every one of them was a warrior at level cap.
The first entered without hesitation, shedding her clothes and kneeling before him.
"Please, Hero, bless me—sleep with me!"
"Get lost."
Takumi's kick sent her flying out the door.
Under normal circumstances, the sight might've stirred excitement. But the thought of being used like a breeding stud only pissed him off.
He reclined on the soft bed, turning his gaze toward the depths of the palace. Through the combined focus of his [Piercing Eye] and [Jade Eye], he saw the king's true form.
A writhing mass of flesh and tentacles pulsed in the darkness.
[Name: Prome Jioral]
[Level: 41 (Cap: 300)]
[Traits: Immortality (Gold), Tentacle Parasite (Purple), Demonic Flesh (Purple), Magic Knight (Blue)…]
[Immortality] (Gold): As long as a fragment of flesh remains, resurrection is possible.
"What the hell is this old man…?"
Disgusting—but undeniably powerful. At his current state, the king's strength rivaled that of a top-tier demon.
Takumi sighed. Killing him wouldn't be easy, not with that [Immortality] trait.
"I only ever watched the anime version… but yeah, this old king's definitely in league with some big bad."
Unclear on the exact details, he decided against a massacre—for now. He'd originally planned to go full Overlord, slaughtering the corrupt nobility. But that could wait.
"Hey, resisting my urge to commit genocide should be worth some karmic points, right?"
With a lazy grin, Takumi closed his eyes, already drafting his next move.
…
Meanwhile, in another part of the palace, Flare was fuming.
"That filthy commoner! The way he ogled me the entire trip—so brazen, so depraved!" Her fingers trembled as she smashed her teacup.
"He's just a slave to lust—so why would he reject the women I sent!? I don't need a disobedient dog!"
Her anger boiled over, echoing through the gilded hall as shards of porcelain scattered across the floor.
