The Star Spirit's expression turned frigid the instant she caught the hungry gleam in Takumi's eyes.
"Child of man," she said coldly, "I've already given you far more than most could dream of. If you dare demand more, I'll fight you to the death!"
"..."
Having his thoughts read so sharply, Takumi scratched the back of his neck in mild embarrassment.
He could tell she was at her limit—one more word and she'd probably choose mutual destruction over surrender. So, he wisely shut his mouth.
The "Spirit Bomb" in his palm gradually dissolved into harmless motes of light, and the fiery aura surrounding him faded away.
Seeing this, the Star Spirit exhaled in relief.
She gave him a long, resentful look and muttered, "Please… don't act so inhuman next time."
With that, she vanished into the lake, returning to the Elven Realm.
Watching the calm water ripple shut, Takumi's expression carried a hint of regret. "Shame… I managed to piss off a generous one right from the start."
Still, he shrugged. "No big deal. Once I find a way into the Elven Realm, I'll make them yield—whether they want to or not."
After all, he wasn't about to let such a lovely, useful race go to waste.
With that thought, he spread his wings and flew back toward the village.
…
When he arrived, the once-peaceful settlement was in chaos. The villagers were panicking—first came the destruction of the distant forest, then a "mini sun" rising over the horizon.
The string of disasters had already caught the attention of the Jioral Kingdom.
"Takumi! There's big trouble!" Anna hurried over, tugging him aside.
Lowering her voice, she whispered all the rumors spreading through the village about the forest's destruction.
As the one responsible for all of it, Takumi found it amusing to hear the gossip firsthand.
Watching Anna's anxious face, he smiled. "Anna, what if I told you I'm the one who caused all that?"
"You?" She blinked, then shook her head in disbelief.
The Takumi she knew couldn't possibly have that kind of power. Even with all her trust in him, it was just too outrageous to accept.
Without another word, Takumi took her hand and led her into the house, ignoring the curious eyes outside.
"Anna, I've awakened ahead of time—and I've become a Hero. The strength I have now… is beyond your imagination. And some of the secrets I hold can only be shared through a contract."
"So, Anna—will you form a pact with me, and offer me your everything?"
A glowing [master–servant magic circle] flared beneath their feet.
Looking up at Takumi—his figure now wreathed in divine light and authority—Anna's heart trembled violently. In her memories, he was still the boy she once looked after… yet here he stood, radiating a man's strength.
Her emotions surged uncontrollably, and the words slipped out before she could think.
"I'm willing, Takumi~"
Contract established!
A soft pink collar mark shimmered into existence on Anna's slender neck. Takumi didn't hesitate; he claimed her lips again—this time, far more assertively.
He drew closer, the pressure of his presence making her knees weak. Anna felt herself melting, her body flowing into his like water.
In that instant, sensations unlike any memory overwhelmed her. Heat. Hardness. He really has become a man…
That final thought flickered in her mind before a flood of emotion drowned everything else
All sense of self vanished; all that remained was her devotion. She only knew she wanted to give him everything. Her master. Her little brother.
A warding barrier sealed off the area, ensuring no one could intrude. In Takumi's mind, there was only one objective left—to help Anna break through her level cap.
…
Hours later…
"I can feel it, Takumi! My level cap—it's gone higher!"
Though older than him by a few years, Anna had long since hit her limit. No amount of effort or monster hunting had ever helped her grow stronger. But now, everything was different—her level cap loosened, her power surged, and for the first time, she truly felt the might of a Hero.
"If you want to keep growing, Anna-nee, you already know what to do."
"You're such a bad boy, Takumi~"
Her once-innocent face now glowed with a rosy allure. Still, she tidied up the room and obediently took the medicine that would help her breakthrough.
A faint light pulsed from within her body as her level climbed again.
That endless cycle of growth made even gentle Anna greedy. Once a humble farmer's woman, she now spent every waking moment locked in Takumi's embrace.
[Name: Anna]
[Class: Farmer]
[Level: 25 (Lower Tier)]
[Traits: Farmer (White), Fit and Sturdy (White), Boneless Body (White)]
"Tch, Anna's foundation is way too weak. No matter how much training we do, her progress is too slow."
Still, compared to before, her strength had increased tenfold. And while she'd started with only [Farmer], the last two traits had come from his day-and-night dedication.
Even so, he found the pace unsatisfactory.
"Seems I'll have to get my hands on a set of Demon Chess Pieces soon."
The glow in Takumi's [Jade Eye] faded as his fingers traced along Anna's smooth, jade-like back.
Feeling his touch, she let out a soft feline moan.
"Takumi~ please… spare me already."
Smack!
"Kya~"
He slapped her playfully, leaving a bright red mark on her that blended with the others already decorating her skin.
"Up you go, Anna. Princess Flare is on her way."
"U-uh!?"
Remembering what he'd told her earlier, Anna forced herself upright and stretched languidly. Her plump figure swayed with a mature charm that could drive a man mad.
Though only a few days had passed, her transformation was staggering. By the time she dressed, her aura had changed completely—radiating the seductive poise of a devoted wife.
"Anna, stick to the plan."
"I know, Takumi."
Nodding sweetly, she packed her things and departed toward Lanaritta Town ahead of him.
Takumi would join her once he wrapped things up here.
After watching her leave, he took his time walking to the edge of the village. He intended to accompany Princess Flare, but his real goal lay elsewhere—Kureha Clyret.
Despite all his indulgence lately, he hadn't stopped refining his [Recovery] magic.
From it, he'd developed a new ability: [Mimic], capable of copying a healed person's combat skills and experience.
Kureha's unique swordsmanship would be his next target.
When Takumi arrived at the village gate, he saw her at last—surrounded by the Royal Knights, standing gracefully before the gathered villagers—the radiant pink-haired beauty, Princess Flare herself.
