Chapter 23 - High-Level Carolla

Inside the room.

Alan Folker watched Peter Parker leave, his expression solemn. He had already more or less guessed some information.

The one who attacked Peter Parker was likely a High-Level Carolla. Formless and invisible, it could transform into black mist. Such an ability was indeed very strong, even Spider-Man was no match for it. Could it be that it found a stronger fusion body, thus possessing the power to eliminate Spider-Man?

Just then, a knock sounded at the door.

May Parker stood at the door, calling out a few times, "Peter, are you asleep?"

Alan Folker rose from his seat and walked to the door. Opening it, he saw May Parker in her pajamas, her figure curvaceous, revealing a deep cleavage.

The moment May Parker saw Alan Folker, she gave a charming smile and gently said, "Folker, you're in Parker's room. Where is Parker?"

"I sent Parker out to buy something; he should be back soon," Alan Folker replied straightforwardly, then tried to leave the room, but was blocked by May Parker.

Her proud body directly pressed against Alan Folker, especially her faintly visible skin, clearly teasing him.

Alan Folker tried to move several times, but wherever he went, May Parker blocked him. He immediately gave an awkward smile and asked, "Mei, what does this mean?"

"The light in my room is broken. Can you help me fix it?" May Parker didn't explain, but instead showed a very wronged expression and pleaded.

Alan Folker's expression was helpless. In this situation, even if the light was broken, he couldn't go to May Parker's room. He always felt like she wanted to devour him at any moment.

A lonely woman, why did she take a fancy to him?

In Alan Folker's heart, there was only one woman, Hela. Other women were existences that could only be admired from afar, not defiled.

Even if they were interested in him, he couldn't do anything too out of line.

Of course, if Hela agreed, there might be a few times; in fact, Alan Folker's sense of guilt wouldn't be so strong.

"Peter is better at fixing lights. Wait for him to come back and help you. I just remembered that the clothes at home haven't been washed yet." Alan Folker grabbed May Parker's arm, gently pushed her away, and said with a brilliant smile.

Alan Folker walked out the door, turned around abruptly, and left in a hurry, as if he dared not stay there for another moment.

May Parker let out a soft complaint, stomping her foot in annoyance, feeling as if the duck she had in hand had flown away, leaving her heart empty.

Back in the room.

Daisy and Hela were organizing the things they had bought today. Their conversation revolved around the baby again, and of course, many items were prepared to welcome their child.

Seeing Alan Folker return, Daisy immediately said, "I've already told Coulson about today's events. He will arrange everything, and that couple will be fine."

"That's good. I'm increasingly trusting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s efficiency." Alan Folker finished speaking, walked to Hela, kissed her affectionately, and then went back to the room to wash up.

The Karola Clan and Kingpin were currently Alan Folker's two main opponents. He had inadvertently gotten involved in these incidents and now couldn't get out.

Since that was the case, cooperating with S.H.I.E.L.D. to resolve these matters would allow him to sleep soundly.

The spread of the Karola was too fast, but Alan Folker always felt that there were manipulators behind them, and they weren't all acting on their own will.

And the manipulator behind them must be related to Kingpin, but it definitely wouldn't be Kingpin himself.

Alan Folker knew Kingpin to some extent. His abilities were very strong, and his personality was completely fearless of anything. This was the Godfather of the underworld.

A cooperative relationship?

Alan Folker was taking a shower, the hot water washing over his body, his mind constantly thinking about things, connecting various clues.

Kyoka Suigetsu could control others; perhaps he could get answers from the Karola.

Inside the house, the door slowly closed.

Hela stretched and walked in, taking off her clothes and slowly entering the bathroom.

Alan Folker was still lost in his thoughts. Hearing the movement outside, he was immediately pulled back to reality and turned to look at Hela who had entered.

"Has Daisy also gone to rest?"

Hela nodded and replied, "We've been out all day; everyone's tired!"

As she spoke, she pulled out a ring from somewhere. Hela took Alan Folker's hand and slowly placed it on his ring finger.

"I've always wanted to give you this ring, but perhaps now is the most suitable time."

Alan Folker looked at himself, then at Hela, a mischievous smile on his lips, and echoed, "It really is quite suitable!"

He didn't care what this handsome ring was; he simply grabbed Hela and gently pressed her down.

Hela cooperated with Alan Folker, knelt on one knee on the ground, looked up at Alan Folker, then opened her mouth, letting the water flow into it.

At this moment.

Alan Folker seemed to forget all his troubles. What Karola, what Kingpin, all of them could just get lost.

The next day, early morning.

Alan Folker was woken up by Hela's vomiting sounds. This morning sickness always appeared from time to time, and he could do nothing about it. Hearing the sounds from the toilet, he showed a worried expression, immediately got out of bed, and walked over.

"Hela, are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital for a check-up?" Alan Folker picked up a tissue from the side and handed it to Hela, asking worriedly.

"No, I'm fine." Hela swallowed, giving a gentle smile as she looked at Alan Folker, and replied.

Although morning sickness was a normal reaction, some pregnant women had severe cases that required hospitalization. Fortunately, Hela's symptoms were only mild.

"I'm relieved you're fine. I'll go make you breakfast." Alan Folker stepped forward, kissed Hela, put on his pajamas, and walked to the kitchen.

In the quiet morning, birds chirped softly.

Today was still a day off, but the Kendo Club had classes in the afternoon. It seemed Natasha had upgraded to a VIP package, and Alan Folker had become her private coach.

In the afternoon, he left the apartment as usual.

Alan Folker was moving across the rooftops of buildings when he suddenly stopped at a high point, gazing at the activity in the distance.

His keen eyes focused on the scene ahead. Spider-Man's figure moved through the air, constantly dodging the pursuit of a mysterious entity behind him.

The next second.

Alan Folker subconsciously opened the file Peter Parker had sent him. They had successfully compared two sets of genes last night, and they were indeed of the same sequence but possessed different energies. The energy of the mysterious liquid was much higher than that of ordinary sample gene energy.

"As expected, no guessing needed. A High-Level Carolla. With this, everything makes sense. Daredevil's death, Spider-Man being hunted down—it's all the work of the Karola, and the mastermind behind it should be Kingpin."

Thinking this, Alan Folker, a blur of motion, charged into the distance.
