In the dead of night.
Faint, fragmented sounds echoed through the alley, like a Beast chewing in the darkness.
On a high rooftop, a figure stood still in the moonlight, looking down at the ground, as if admiring the splatters of blood.
"Enjoy your feast tonight, Shadow Wolf!" Phantom sneered coldly, watching three Shadow Wolves devour a human. Torn to pieces, not even bones remained, only the sounds of crunching.
In the distance, a wave of Fire swept through, and the roar of a motorcycle echoed along the silent road.
A skeletal monster, enveloped in flames and riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, stopped outside the alley. He turned off the engine and slowly dismounted.
"I smell a demon!" The skeletal monster sniffed, hearing the distant sounds. He pulled a flaming chain from the ground and wrapped it around himself.
He walked deeper, his footsteps drawing closer to the chewing sounds. In an instant, Fire swept the ground, illuminating the surroundings.
Three ferocious, pitch-black Shadow Wolves stopped their actions, looking warily at the skeletal monster. They appeared very hostile, as if he intended to snatch their food.
"Shadow Wolves, keeping such pets is not a good idea." The skeletal monster shook his head, looking up at Phantom on the high ground with a hint of helplessness.
"Tonight is truly unfortunate, to encounter Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze, who punishes demons. I apologize, my pet hasn't eaten in a long time, so its table manners might not be very pleasant." Phantom's tone was calm. He glanced at Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze, one of the ability users who refused to merge with Karola. He had some understanding of Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.
"Since you know of my existence, then come at me!" Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze drew his chain, placed it on the ground, and his cold voice echoed around him.
"I think you misunderstood. I was just marveling. You know, pets need exercise late at night. Once they're full, they want to find some toys to play with." Phantom shook his head. His goal this time was to draw out Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze and kill him.
Anyone who doesn't accept Karola's fusion will be eliminated one by one, just as Kingpin said: if they're not friends, then they're enemies.
Upon hearing this, Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze showed a surprised expression, clutched his chain, and swung it directly.
In mid-air, the figure vanished like a phantom.
When he reappeared, he was already standing beside the Shadow Wolves. The three Shadow Wolves stopped eating, slowly walked over, and stood by Phantom's side.
Phantom looked at the Shadow Wolves, as tall as himself, and stroked the black fur of one of them. He said indifferently, "Have fun, for tonight's entertainment."
The Shadow Wolves let out low growls, passed by Phantom, and walked step by step towards Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.
"Bang!"
A burst of Fire erupted, and the chain struck the ground with a loud clang.
A wall of Fire rose from the ground, blocking the path of the Shadow Wolves.
However, in the next second, the Shadow Wolves transformed into afterimages, lunging at Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze from all directions. Although there were only three Shadow Wolves, their illusions seemed like twelve.
Sparks flew, and there were crisp sounds of fighting.
The chain lashed against the Shadow Wolves, eliciting howls, and the fur it touched turned to ash.
The Shadow Wolves shook their heads, roaring, their howls echoing through the dark city.
Alan Folker walked out of the Kendo Club and suddenly heard wolf howls with his sensitive senses. He looked into the distance, a puzzled expression on his face.
Why would there be wolf howls in the city?
This sound was clearly not a mating call, but an aggressive one.
In the direction of those city buildings, a battle must have occurred. This wolf was not simple; perhaps there really was a wolf that had escaped.
Alan Folker's expression was curious. He turned into an afterimage and vanished from his spot, heading in the direction of the sound.
At this moment, Hawkeye Clint Barton, who had been secretly protecting Alan Folker, blinked, and his target was gone.
"Coulson, the target is lost again," Hawkeye Clint Barton reported his situation.
This was the second time he had disappeared under their surveillance. A person couldn't just vanish without a trace; even at high speed, there would be an afterimage, but Alan Folker had truly disappeared into thin air.
"Was Hela there?" Coulson asked with a frown.
If it was Hela, then Alan Folker's disappearance was normal. One must never offend a woman, especially the Goddess of Death. If she took him away, then they could rest for the night.
"No, he was standing there perfectly fine just a second ago, then he just vanished. But I think I heard a wolf's howl. How could there be wolves in the city?" Hawkeye Clint Barton recalled the scene and said.
"Wolves? Since the target is lost, go check out what's going on with the wolves?" Coulson's expression was puzzled. This was indeed a bit suspicious.
A gust of wind, like a phantom.
This ability seemed familiar.
Phantom vigilantly watched as the energy approached. In an instant, Grim Reaper Aizen, with his hollowed mask, stood between the Shadow Wolves and Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.
Alan Folker looked at Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze. This guy appearing here for no reason was not a good thing. Wherever Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze appeared, there must be evil souls.
Just as he was observing Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze, he suddenly turned around and looked at the figure in blue clothes under the light.
"That scent… this guy is Karola!"
Phantom walked on the ground in his leather shoes, making crisp footsteps. He walked a few steps, stopped, and sneered, "Pleasure to meet you, Grim Reaper Aizen!"
"Sure enough, it's you vermin causing trouble. So, he's your target tonight?" Alan Folker pointed to the wary Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze on one side. His entire body released blue flames, and the demonic aura seemed even more intense.
"That's right, but it will be your turn soon, don't worry," Phantom replied with a haughty demeanor and a scornful smile.
Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze looked at Aizen in front of him and said coldly, "Hey, don't interrupt me punishing evil, or you'll be burned to ashes too!"
With that, he completely ignored Aizen in the center, swung his chain, and wrapped it around one of the Shadow Wolves.
Under a burst of blue flames, the Shadow Wolf instantly turned to ash within the chain, without even a chance to howl.
"Bang!"
Another sound. Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze's movements were very fast. No matter how fast the Shadow Wolves were, he could clearly know their direction.
With one strike, he directly sent the lunging Shadow Wolf flying.
Blazing flames rose around the fallen Shadow Wolf, covering its entire body like a cage. Screams of agony filled the surroundings.
In just a dozen seconds, only one Shadow Wolf remained, but Phantom did not order it to stop. It leaped directly at Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.
But Alan Folker swung his sword, his body passing through the Shadow Wolf. The blade sliced the Shadow Wolf in half, but not a single drop of blood spilled out.
"Boom!"
With a sound, the Shadow Wolf landed, blood oozing from its two halves, and it lost its breath.
