"Blade of destruction first form‚ Cataclysm Edge!" Kazuki shoot down some of them mid air.
"An enemy Attack! Scatter!" One of the bandit yell as all of them scatter everywhere.
"Who the hell are you?! A Slayer? You've got some nerves chasing us alone. You're gonna regret this!" The bandits yells.
"Blade of destruction: Shattering Crescent! The lightning majutsu pierce through most of them.
"That should take care of about half of them..hm" Kazuki notice a yellow arrow flying towards him so he jump high in the air but the arrow changes direction going back towards Kazuki but he raises his katana and pierce through arrow.
Kazuki turns around to see a men flying on a broom. "Are you the boss? I think I've seen you before..you don't look like a Slayer to me‚ though.
The boss speaks recognizing Kazuki back from the forest. "You're the guy from that one time."
"What one time? Kazuki asks.
"A few months ago‚ you got in the way of us plundering that crummy little Village. Guess I get to repay you for that sooner than I thought."
The bandits surround Kazuki in the air.
"A few months ago?" Kazuki seem to remember the the fight in the forest and seeing their boss. "Hey! You're the dude from that one time! I see now.. Putting that guy's weird clothes and broom aside his majutsu aren't too impressive‚ but that staff in his hand might be bit bad news. Was that some treasure from the demons found?" Kazuki says.
"Don't think I'm the same as before." Their boss said.
"Hey‚ who gave you this weird looking staff?" Kazuki asks pointing his finger at him.
"If you want to know‚ you'll have to defeat me first!"
Their boss raise the staff and uses sand majutsu to make a large snake. "Take this!" The sand snake pierce through the air towards Kazuki direction.

After few minutes Kazuki has taken down all the bandits and their boss. "Damn you guys for wasting my precious time."
Kazuki picks up the now broke staff. "Now then‚ let's have you spill who the hell gave you this weird looking staff."
Their boss looks away refusing to spill so Kazuki cracks his knuckles loudly. "Three..two" their boss suddenly speaks up.
"F-fine! I'll tell you! T-the truth is.." before he could tell a small kid comes out from a house looking at them.
"Tch‚ stay in your house brat!" Just as Kazuki says bandit's boss jumps over behind the kid and place a knife around his neck.
"Not another step‚ Slayer! If you move this little kid is gonna die." Their boss threats Kazuki.
"How? You think your buddies stand a chance against me?" Kazuki said looking back at them all unconscious or injured on the ground.
"No‚ they probably don't but.."
Suddenly the ground cracks as ice made golem rip through the ground. "What..?" Before Kazuki could do anything the golem wrap it's large hands around Kazuki capturing him.
"This majutsu...it's ice majutsu spell..same one from one of Slayer's team‚ you see." Their boss said as two of the Slayers walk out from the smoke.
One of them speaks. "Likewise‚ that's an ice bending spell called majutsu ice golem."
"I've seen you bastards before." Kazuki said.
"Haha."
"You're the bastards from that witch Akane's team one of the Slayer's captain. Guess we actually had two traitors instead of one." Kazuki said trying to break through the golem's hands.
"So you both were the ones giving these bandits majutsu items and information‚ amd having them attack the towns." Kazuki struggles trying the break out the seal.
"There's no use in struggling. No one can break through that." One of the Slayers says while laughing.
"Tch‚ you guys are disgrace to us Slayers!"
"You're the beast named Kazuki Tenma that the head of Slayers picked up recently‚ right? I thought the head was up to something. So this is what it was." The Slayer said.
"Which means that the head's order to protect the towns was a diversion to pinpoint where we'd attack next. I guess we completely fell for it." The other Slayer said.
"Bosses‚ you're amazing for figuring out their plan." Boss of bandits said still holding the kid against a knife.
"You go hurry up and find their treasure." The Slayer said pointing at the bandits boss.
"Y-yes‚ sir. Uh‚ it was at the town's mayor house‚ right? Hey‚ take me there." The boss said to the kid.
"O-okay..."
"You men‚ follow me."
"Yes!"
The bandits boss and his members follow the kid.
"The Slayers exist to serve and protect the people of Japan from demon. Yet you bastards.." Kazuki said still struggling to break through the seal.
"We'll tell the head that we found you after you'd been defeated by the bandits." One of the Slayers said with a smirk.
"Don't think I'll go down that easily! I'll pay you back a billion times more!" Kazuki said with angry expression.
"Oh‚ my. Only a weakling would say something like that." The other bandit said.
"Now‚ Goodbye." Other Slayer said waving his hand as the golem starts pressuring Kazuki between it's hands even more causing Kazuki to grint his teeth.
"How long do you think he can hold out?" Slayer asked to the other one.
"Just give up already."
"Like I'd give up thay easily you morons!" Kazuki said trying to break out of it.
"I think you're just about to hit your limits." Slayer said.
"Who the hell cares about limits. I'll just break them! Right here‚ right now!" Kazuki said as his dark energy starts leaking through his body and nerves tightening.
Suddenly wind spears sharp because of the speed fly towards the bandits hitting them square causing ground to shake‚ some spears fly towards the two Slayers as they jump up to dodge them. "Ahh!"
The other Slayer makes an ice wall to block the spear which works and the other one makes large hands through mud to catch the wind spears.
Takuma lands in front of where Kazuki is sealed. "Wind majutsu: Phoenix." The wind Phoenix shoots towards the ice golem at high speed breaking it and Kazuki lands back onto his feet.
Takuma and Kazuki walks closer. "Are you alright?" Takuma asks.
"Took you too long." Kazuki said breathing heavier.
"I'll have you know that I hurried over. When I wasn't able to get a hold of you‚ I figured the bandits must have appeard in kamikawa town." Takuma speaks calmly.
"Hah. Looks like I own you one for saving my ass but I'm gonna pay it back very quick‚ creepy smile." Kazuki looks over at the Slayers. "They're the one's behind all this."
"Two of Slayers just like us..I see." Takuma says looking over at them.
"Takuma raiden..the youngest Slayers. I guess you were following the head's orders‚ too. We'll just have to defeat you along Kazuki tenma." The slayers said.
A mud attack pierce through ground as Takuma and Kazuki jumps other way to dodge it.
"You bastards!"
The other Slayer's shoot ice towards Kazuki but Kazuki slashes his sword through the air coated in dark majutsu easily piercing through the ice.
Kazuki flys towards the Slayer to slash him but the Slayer jumps to his left.
"Attack of the bull!" The Slayer yells as he makes a bull through ice running towards Kazuki at high speed.
"Blade of destruction cataclysm edge!" Kazuki attack cuts through the bull and sends the Slayer flying backward.
The Slayer gets up from the ground trying to run away but Kazuki teleports in front of him the tip of his sword next to the Slayer's chest.
"I told you I'll pay a billion times back‚ didn't I told you?!" Kazuki says.
The Slayer looks back at Kazuki with a nervous smile. "Please have mercy on me."
Kazuki gives a kind smile before throwing a punch onto the Slayer's face knocking him out.
Meanwhile Takuma fights with the mud majutsu user as the other Slayer's golem block Kazuki's wind spears.
"Not bad. Let's negotiate. Why not join us? We can make a lot of money together and you're strong too." The Slayer says with a smirk.
"Join you?"
"Yes‚ it'll be quite fun."
"Hm. That sound's very tempting‚ But I'll pass. I've sworn my loyalty to the Slayers and protect the innocent‚ after all." Takuma says with a smirk.
"I see. That's quite unfortunate."
A golem behind Takuma slowly rises from the ground as it tries to sneak attack Takuma but Kazuki rips it open with one attack.
"Heh‚ looks like I paid you back already. That makes it equal." Kauzki says with a smile.
The Slayer fells to the ground as both Takuma and Kazuki walks closer to him. "It truly is unfortunate that there were traitors among the Slayers." Takuma before shooting his wind towards the Slayer.
"Ahhh!"
"Now‚ all that left is.." Takuma says knowing the bandit's boss has ran away.
"Yeah.."
Far from the town the bandit boss and his men tries to escape but suddenly the head of Slayers teleport in the air out of nowhere. Taking them all by surprise.
The bandit boss points at the new comer. "I don't know the fu*k this is‚ but take him down!"
All the bandits charge with fire‚ air and electric majutsu as they launch it towards the head‚ the head riase his hand and absorb all of it.
"I wasn't planning on interfering‚ but I think I'm not old enough to sit down for now." The head says with a smile before making a black hole in his palm.
Later both Takuma and Kazuki fly towards the direction where the bandits and their boss had ran towards.
As they approach their mouth is left hanging as they see all of the bandits and their boss left beaten on the ground.
"Who the hell did that?" Kazuki says looking at Takuma.
Next morning they're back at the Slayer's village inside the head's office which is rather his Japan style house.
"Well done. You were able to catch the traitors and the bandits." The head praises both of them.
"I mean..the bandit's boss was out cold on the ground." Kazuki says confused.
The head laughs. "I guess weird things does happen. Again‚ excellent work. By the way.."
"Kazuki tenma‚ Takuma raiden.. considering everything you've done so far‚ I'm appointing you both as the captains of the new squads." The head says.
"The hell..?" Says Kazuki.
"Captains of Slayers?" Takuma asked confused.
"Will you accept my offer?"
"I guess the competition of who becomes the captain ends in a draw." Kazuki says looking over at Takuma.
"Yes‚ but our true competition still lies ahead." Takuma says.
"Yeah."
"I won't lose."
"Neither will I."
"I believe both of you. Kauzki what type of squad will you make?" The head asks.
"A square huh? Let's see..a squad who is ruthless and would kill demons without any Mercy. Means a strong squad." Kazuki says thinking for a second.
"That sounds great. And you?" Head says looking over at Takuma.
"I will create a squad where bloodline and standing doesn't matter‚ and will be stronger than Kazuki's squad."
"Hell if I'll let your team beat mine." Kazuki sayd with a smirk.
"That sounds wonderful‚ too. I look forward to it. Starting today‚ you're both one of the captains of the Slayers..no Soul Slayers." The head says.
"Soul Slayers?" Both Takuma and Kazuki asks together.
"It's good to have change of name's once in a while."
Back at the current times in hot springs.
"Guess you went through a lot‚ captain Kazuki. So what are you trying to say?" Noboru asks.
Kazuki smacks Noboru in the head. "Dumbass you still didn't figure it out yet?! I'm trying to say‚ even if you stumble‚ even if you fail‚ you'll be fine as long as you don't give up. Don't you all ever give up! Surpass your limits and the path for you will open up‚ and you Kaito stop being so depressed just because you got beat up by Tanzai and can't control your flames because of injures‚ even if you fail 99 times you just have to surpass your limits you moron!"
"I see.." Kaito listens quietly before smiling.
"Alright! C'mon Noboru-kun let's go to training again!" Kaito says with new found personality.
"His whole personality changed! He was meant to be the quiet one!" Noboru says while getting pulled.
