"Prince Alaric!" Miss Juniper calls out.
"Coming!" Alaric replies.
"Is it just for dinner?" Vix asks.
"It's for Thanksgiving dinner!" Alaric exclaims.
"Another holiday? You humans have a lot of holidays…" Vix replies.
"Yes, another holiday! Also, of course we have a lot of holidays!" Alaric says.
"Who's going to be here?" Vix asks.
"My family! As in my parents, Tía Jasmine, grandparents, and cousins!" Alaric exclaims.
"How come I haven't met your grandparents yet?" Vix asks.
"Papá says that Abuela and Abuelo's health is declining, even though they're only in their fifties." Alaric replies.
"When was the last time you saw them?" Vix asks.
"Typically I see them for a couple months every year, from November all the way to January first, when they leave in the afternoon!" Alaric replies.
"Must be nice." Vix says.
"What does that mean? Do you not see your parents?" Alaric asks.
"Well, not as often as I'd like to." Vix replies.
"Could I meet your family at some point?" Alaric asks.
"Maybe at some point…" Vix replies.
"Do you have any siblings?" Alaric asks.
"An older brother and a twin sister." Vix replies. "So, are we going to go downstairs?"
"Oh, right!" Alaric says.
"Race you?" Vix asks.
Alaric smiles. "You're on!"
Vix and Alaric both start to run downstairs, Vix jumps onto the rail, sliding down.
"I won." Vix says.
Alaric giggles. "No fair! You went on the rail!"
"You're only mad because you didn't think of that!" Vix replies.
"Children? Are you ready?" Miss Juniper asks.
"Yes, Miss." Vix replies.
"Mhm! Is everyone here already?" Alaric asks.
Miss Juniper nods. "They're already in the kitchen."
"Cool!" Alaric exclaims.
Alaric runs into the kitchen. "Abuelo Dennis! Abuela Luciliae!"
"Alaric!" Dennis and Luciliae both bend down and hug Alaric.
Catherine waves. "Hello, Alaric! Hello, Vix!"
"Hi to everybody!" Alaric exclaims. "Could everybody that Vix doesn't know introduce themself?"
"King Chester Thornhart." Chester replies.
"Queen Scarlett Thornhart, but call me Queen Thornhart." Scarlett says.
"Dennis, retired king." Dennis replies.
"My name is Luciliae, Dear. If that's too complicated though, you can call me Luci." Luciliae says.
Vix nods. "Hello King Thornhart, Queen Thornhart, Prince Dennis, and Princess Luciliae. My name is Vix Lyric, but anybody can call me Vix."
Scarlett raises an eyebrow. "Alaric, why is a commoner at Thanksgiving dinner with us royals?"
"He's my best friend, Mamá!" Alaric replies.
"He's an amazing friend." Catherine says.
"And really kind." Margaret adds on.
Scarlett rolls her eyes. "Whatever."
Chef Emily starts bringing the food out.
"Did you want help with that, Mx?" Vix asks.
Chef Emily smiles. "I'm good, It's Miss by the way."
"Alright, Miss." Vix then goes and sits down beside Alaric and Catherine.
-After a few hours, they finish eating. Vix, Alaric, and Catherine all go outside-
Alaric grabs a ball, the three start throwing the ball at each other.
