In a large hallway, filled with numerous doors, cloaked with a magical and ancient aura, people could be seen walking up and down in this hallway.
Matt was walking down this hall, looking for his room.
After they had arrived at the Requiem Academy, their heart was charmed by the beauty and elegance of the academic building.
Each of them had their eyes glowing with stars. The instructors brought them inside the academy building and took them to their hostel, where they would be accommodated until their graduation.
Now they were given keys to their room with numbers scraped on them, and this was the situation Matt had found himself in.
Eira's room number was No.1 . According to what he heard, only one person can live in rooms numbered one through ten; as for other rooms, they are shared among the students.
Walking faster when he saw he had reached the section of room number one thousand, he stood before a door, reaching his destination.
"Room No. 1270"
"I wonder what kind of people my roommates are," he muttered under his breath as he unlocked the door.
Entering the room, he saw two bunk beds, one at the left side of the room and the other at the right side. He looked around, surprised that there was nobody in it, but he could see three parts of the bed were occupied.
He went to the upper bed of the bunk bed, at the right side, which was empty, and arranged his clothes and items as he lay down on the bed.
Now that he had entered the Requiem Academy, his knowledge based on Requiem and how to use his talent was basically zero.
He needs to get stronger and find out why his parents truly died. Uncle Ben had said that they weren't sure whether they were dead or alive, but they hadn't come back, and when they checked where their mission was taken, there were no traces of them.
CREAK!
As he thought, the door of the room was opened. He looked to see a young boy of his age, with black hair and black eyes and an average face.
"Oh, you are here. My name is Brainiac. What's yours?" The young boy smiled, jumping beside Matt without care.
Matt smiled, "Matt."
"Matt, that's a good name. The others would soon be back, so which city are you from?" Brainiac sat down beside Matt on his bed, asking this with curiosity.
"BlackWater City"
Before they knew it, they started talking, and evening came.
His other two roommates came; their names were Darwin and Brent. Darwin was a quiet guy; Brent just watched both of them. Even though both guys had their charm, it didn't reach Matt.
Later on, they later join in the conversation; even the quiet Darwin talked like a parrot.
Darwin, B rank Wind Talent.
Brent, C rank Earth Talent
Brainiac, B rank Metal Talent
When Matt heard of their talent, he was shocked and wondered how he got to be their roommate.
Exposing his talent, he was expecting them to have a disappointed reaction, but they still maintained their friendly attitude.
This made Matt delighted; their conversation continued.
7:00 PM
The jingle of the bell rang throughout the academy session.
An unknown interface appeared in front of him. Matt was shocked by this and looked to see the watch that was given to them by the instructors was the one exhibiting this interface.
He looked at Darwin, Brent, and Brainiac. The same interface was floating before them.
"It's dinner time; all students should head to the cafeteria."An unknown voice resounded throughout the academy.
A map appeared on the interface with a place marked. Matt was surprised by this, heading out of the room with Darwin, Brent, and Brainiac.
As they got out of the room, a crowd of students filled their vision as all students had come out for dinner time.
They moved, heading in the direction pointed out on the map.Meanwhile, outside the hostel building, Eira was waiting, her silver hair shining under the evening glow, her beauty charming the boys who were coming from the hostel, and the girls felt jealous of it.
It piqued their curiosity why such beauty was waiting here,
"Beauty, what's your name?" A young boy, also charming, with green hair and eyes, stretched his hands forward, trying to get her attention.
Eira just glanced at him, her expression cold like ice.
When the young boy saw this, he felt awkward, withdrawing his hands when shunned by Eira.
Some boys gloated at this, delighted by this.
More boys started asking Eira out for dinner, but they were shunned. The girls envied Eira, seeing the boys who were asking her out.
Everyone wondered who she was waiting for as her eyes were glued to the door of the hostel.
Matt and the boys got to the entrance of the hostel and were surprised by the commotion. They stretched their heads, trying to get what was happening.
Eira, who was standing, saw Matt; her mouth curled up into a smile.
All the boys felt their jaws drop as they didn't expect such a cold goddess to smile like the fiery sun. They followed their gaze, landing on Matt's group.
Eira smiled, delighted as she walked towards Matt.
"Matt,"Matt, who was searching for the source of the commotion, heard a familiar voice, turning to see Eira, who was smiling at me.
"Were you waiting for me?" Matt was able to guess.
Eira nodded; he shook his head as he smiled. After his parents death, they got close, almost depending on one another.
Darwin, Brent, and Brainiac were shocked by the beauty of Eira, but thinking of Matt's charm itself, their shock reduced.
They could feel the closeness between both of them.
After Matt had seen Eira, he lost interest in locating the source of the commotion, holding Eira's hand, "Let's go to the cafeteria."
The crowd watched everything; their silence was one of the reasons why Matt didn't know that Eira was the source of the commotion.
They were angry that their goddess was taken, but they saw Matt's charm and handsomeness.
The girls were lovestruck, the boys envious. They all watched them leaving the hostel; after this, they dispersed, heading to where they were going.
