Myleane's war spear hit the ice dome, cracks began appear everywhere it. Our eyes met, her smile was as creepy as it could get, the spear slowly melted through the layers of ice.
"Took you long enough, did you enjoy the company of my creation?" I enthusiastically asked for a review while ignoring the fact that I was standing on the edge of my death.
Apparently she took my words as an insult, the flames raged on as she pushed with more strength, the spear finally melted all the ice and reached to my chest.
Myleane roared while I hummed in a soft tone. "Fufufu~ Answer me this, when you mentioned someone dear. Was it your lover?"
I held Melsier's sword in between two fingers, showing it to the crimson beast.
"Yes! I need that blade!!!"
I immediately cringed out. 'The only reason I utter those words was to annoy her, play with her mental but I did not expect that answer… Melsier, you damn player.'
The flames become so strong that it engulfed the entire ice dome. Myleane's mouth was drooling to taste victory, she roared one last time. "URAHHH!"
"Oh my." I placed my index finger at the tip of her war spear, all the flames vanished very next second.
The crimson beast did not burn at all, it roared but could not even light a match. "What did you do?" Myleane growled, still pumping mana into her spear to ignite it.
Sadly, I ate her every last bit and honestly it tasted like shit. "Don't make such face. Come, I take you for a ride."
Seeing the flames extinguished but their mistress in a tight spot, the assassin jumped straight in to help like puppies. They threw multiple daggers at the already weakened dome, thinking it would crack.
It would have, if their attacks were strong enough.
I caught Myleane looking at them with hope. "Don't worry, I have something else for them. But for us? Tell me, are you afraid of heights?"
Before she could answer, a thick coating of strong ice overgrows on her skin, freezing her one with the dome. "Wait! What are you doin-"
I tap my foot and the rocky edge collapses, taking straight dive in the pit.
"He took the mistress with him!" "It was an unplanned suicide act. The master's gonna skin us alive!" As the two assassins are arguing, one of them pushes them aside to stand at the edge of the pit.
"You fools! Look, they are on the train."
The other assassin's look at each other with confusion. "Train?" "What's that?"
Presumably the leader, rubs his forehead in frustration and mumbles. "Ugh, this is why I was against of hiring outsiders."
As I am falling down, the magic circles on my hands glows, ready to reinforce the dome to ease the impact. 'Huh? What's going on? Why are we falling nose first in the dungeon and why there is a woman menacingly glaring at us?'
I greet Dora who woke up from her long slumber. 'Good morninggggg~'
The mouse immediately becomes wary of me. 'Huh? Why are you so cherry? Ew! I don't like this!!!'
Dora screams as we further fall down, possibly break through 1st floor and enter directly 2nd floor. But we hit something very unexpected.
THUD!
The already cracked ice dome broke when it clashed against train's hard metal, I probably broke a bone or two and Dora fell off into the abyss but I didn't have time to worry about her.
Before I could even stand, Myleane broke free and stabbed my shoulder, pinning me down. "You are one annoying brat, you know?"
I try to pull the war spear out but it proved to be too heavy for me. She snatches the blade from me and passionately hovers her fingers over it. "How did you get obtain this blade? You stole? Bought it?"
I quietly summon a magic circle while trying to pull the giant spear.
Myleane glances at the spear one more time before strapping it on her belt. "Regardless, such fine blade is wasted on you. You are much of a wizard than swordsman, I don't even think I ever saw you draw this blade."
"Well, the owner saw me worthy enough."
This one sentence changed Myleane's behaviour completely, like a desperate person she held my head and shook it aggressively. "You know him? Where is he? Why isn't he coming to the guild? Is he okay? ANSWER ME!"
I smirk knowing that I have the upper head in this conversation. "Sure, I tell you. But first let me go, I need to find someone urgent-"
Without any warning, Myleane twists her spear, inflicting much pain. "Urugh!"
Her crimson hair sway everywhere, her face apathetic as it could get and her black pupil glare at me as if I am the prey. "Don't misunderstand."
She pulls out my entire shoulder blade, at first I scream in pain but quickly regain posture, my body becomes numb as adrenaline rushes in. "I am the one making demands."
Whenever she opens her mouth, her sharp canine flashes itself. "Now tell me, where is Mel?"
I am taking heavy breathes, forcing my heart to calm down, blood rushes to my head making my vision blurry and yet I stare at the crimson beast with a smile. "You w-want to find Melsier?"
She points her spear at my forehead, probably will make skull an accessory if I give out the wrong answer.
"Look! He is there!" I avert my eyes to her left side thinking she will follow my gaze, but she did not.
My flying ice spear which looked comedic to Myleane's war spear came from the right and hit her straight in the head which did no damage at all.
I couldn't help but giggle. "Hehehe. It was worth a try."
Myleane tilts her head and ask with a passive aggressive tone. "Do you think this is a joke?"
I do not answer her and continue laughing.
"Of course, you think this is a joke. I hate your kind."
I decide to look up and give her a response. "Oh yeah? I also don't like your type. Hot blooded and brainless chumps. Ah! People like are so hard to control."
The first time ever, Myleane genuinely looked enraged as she raises her spear. "I kill you!"
Suddenly I change my expression as I see something up in the air. A red glob made of dense blood mana, falling down at high speed. 'It has grown.'
"Your petty tricks won't work this time-"
CREAAAK!
All of sudden hits breaks creating massive sparks and disrupting Myleane's footing, she slams her spear into the train to hold onto it.
Ahead, a red tentacle broke the tracks to split the train, now numerous giant carts were forced to halt in the middle of a bottomless pit.
"Told ya!"
