They shot up the horses in the room with pistols, aiming at their hearts, killing them on the spot. Some damn troll decided it'd be funny to have horses come in and shit everywhere so that they had to spend hours cleaning the day before the race began. "Stupid fucking trolls, thinking they can ruin an entire event in here??" The man said while shooting the cows, the blood got on his pink dress with white marbles all around. "Joegin, you got blood on your dress! Do you want me to clean it up for you?" One of the men said all of the men wore the safe protocol uniforms with a blue shade to not risk catching an unknown flu. "I'm fine; in fact, I could mix in this blood as a vibe. Now get back to work!" Joegin yelled. "And don't use my first name; call me Mr. Wonder! In fact, I'll write that new rule tomorrow." Joegin said to himself.
The guard sweated and then went back to his duty. Then an interviewer walked up to him and said, "We need you for the interview! We know that you explained it a million times but because it's tomorrow, The man said nervously but yelling. Joegin looked at him and smiled and nodded. They lead him to the interview room. Thousands of people held cameras recording live at every angle. He was bombarded with questions, but luckily he pulled out a sheet of paper he had prepared so he could easily answer questions.
"Okay, so first, what is this race about? Backrooms run, as he has called it? Well, long ago when the first wanderer entered the backrooms, he saw something. A slab that said, 'Make it to the ocean and you'll be free.' For decades people have tried finding this within the backrooms and tried to find it by looking at sea levels. You'd think that would be it, but something in our minds automatically tells us it isn't by emotion. Something nobody could control, it has even been theorized that the entities kill people and do their odd rituals to reach the sea. But that hasn't been proven until now. I, Joegin Kaino, was born in the east district of Jok in 1959 with researchers and promises that this race will bring us humans a step. Discover levels and maybe make it to the sea. I'll say the rules for this race." Joegin said with confidence.
"The race will start in the first level, level 0. Because of the massive amount, 1,509,856 to be exact, we will be holding it in 4 sections. Of course these sections will be sorted based on race to avoid some mishaps because, surprisingly, there are non-human participants. People have argued that because they were raised their entire lives in the backrooms, it'd be unfair that they know so much knowledge, but we have Lil' Joe in this race, so I let it pass. Because the backrooms are unpredictable, we have set up random checkpoints on random levels that were safe enough that the entire team didn't get eaten. So how can you win? Well, you know, there are 6 ways. Which are categorized into levels, entities, objects, phenomena, tales, and groups. You must discover new levels, new sections, new entities, objects, phenomena, tales, and unknown groups. They will gain points based on how massive the thing is. It will be counted 5-250 for each section. If you want more info, then I have these books prepared by our top 1 sponsor!" Joegin said then someone appeared behind him.
It was the king. He was known as the most powerful being in the backrooms and possibly created it? He had a crown that said "KING" (what a showoff) and a well-tied suit with black hair and black shoes. He appeared dangerously behind with a staring glare. He pulled out a bunch of books. "And remember everybody, have fun. Let this be a moment for us to enjoy," he said with a serious tone. "AND WITH THAT THE INTERVIEW IS OVER," the men said, leaving.
"That was so much stress," Joegin said. "Don't worry, this is a win-win. You humans can learn more, and I get to enjoy seeing you guys get to new levels." There was the way the KING said it that made Joegins' skin crawl. But he ignored it, thinking it was just chills from being so close to the KING of the backrooms. Joegin later went out to get some tea.
