One sentence made Thea Lynch blush.
She looked down at the top red envelope in her arms and whispered after a few seconds, "Thank you."
Normally, Ian Preston wouldn't make it difficult for her, but today was different.
Perhaps their relationship had been getting closer recently, giving him confidence.
He didn't let it go, asking, "Thank you who?"
Thea Lynch: "..."
"I'm heading back." She didn't even see him out, escaping with the red envelope in her arms.
Ian Preston didn't chase after her, smiling as he watched her enter the room before turning to leave.
The Preston Family.
Hearing the commotion at the door, the old Preston looked up, "Went looking for Thea again."
A tone of certainty.
"Yeah." They were married anyway, so there wasn't any need to hide.
No one could control them meeting each other.
The old Preston shook his head with a smile, putting down the chess piece in his hand, "Your son is quite hopeless."
