In the evening, Thea Lynch found time to hand out the gifts to everyone else.
Silas Cheney and his second brother each received a tie and a pair of cufflinks.
"Hmm, this is nice." Silas couldn't put them down. "Our sister has good taste. Perfect to wear during New Year's in formal attire."
Julian Zimmerman also liked them, smiling as he thanked her.
"What did you get for the third brother?"
Tonight, Ian Preston didn't come out; the Preston Family had guests, and they were still out having dinner and hadn't returned yet.
"I picked out some clothes."
"Tut-tut-tut." Silas couldn't help but tease, "Indeed, different treatment."
"Not at all." Thea explained, "I wasn't biased. It's just that your style was out of stock."
"It's all excuses." Silas didn't buy it but didn't get angry. "It's normal; after all, the third brother is not the same as us now, he's advanced."
Knowing he was deliberately teasing her, Thea smiled silently, letting him be.
