"Wash yourself." Steve said to Xenon and showed him the bath.
Xenon took a bath and changed out of his bloodied clothes, clean except for his right arm which was still reddened and the tips of his shoulder length hair stained by blood which refused to be completely washed off.
He picked at the food Steve provided as he stared at his arms, the memories of this morning still fresh in his mind.
"Whatever happened back there wasn't your fault, they were the ones who set the ambush." Steve said
"Not my fault? Who dug his hand into who? Please spare me that bullshit." Xenon replied coldly
"And what if it is? What if it is your fault? Are you just going to sulk here forever?" Xenon looked at Steve bewildered
"What has happened today has happened, and this might not be the last time. I am not only here to hide you from your grandfather, I am to teach you things too, so get up your ass and stop sulking, you only have one month.... I'll be out back if you need me." Steve stood up and went out.
Xenon sat there still for more than a few minutes, he stuffed the rest of his breakfast down his throat, and opened the system.

"Don't stop there, start a search for him within the village, he can't have gotten off the island". He ordered
"Right away sire". Cecil stood up from his knees and went out.
"You've had a first kill, Xenon, now let's see if it kills or remakes you." He smirked, the smirk widened into a grin then into a silent laugh which grew into a loud one, and then he choked and coughed terribly.

He picked up another stone and added it to the inventory, the square the stone occupied now had the number 2 in the left corner. "This is great. I don't have to carry things anymore. "Your grandfather sure doesn't give up" Steve said as he walked in with some groceries. "The one week you've been here, Cecil and his men have been searching the village for you. I kinda feel bad for Cecil now, cause I know he's not gonna find you."
"Shall we start today's combat practice?" Xenon asked, ignoring what Steve said earlier.
He had been sparring with Steve ever since he got to his place. Steve pounded into him the basics of hand to hand combat and thought him how to control his second ability as Steve's ability was something similar.
"Sure, give me a minute"

"What's that?" Steve called from the kitchen when he heard Xenon mumbling
"Oh, it's nothing." Xenon replied
"Ok, let's go!" Steve led him to the backyard where there was an open field. He took a stance, both legs bent slightly, the right one placed a step in front of the left, both arms in front of him just below his eyes, the right arm placed slightly in front of the left, both bending towards each other.
Xenon stood at the other end, faint, little, white arcs of lightning dancing around his body.
"Come!" Steve said as blue arcs of lightning thundered around his fist "And have a taste of thunder." His fist crackled.
Xenon ran forward... and hit the ground faster than he felt the pain in his jaw.
