By now I'm sure you can already tell that there's something going on between her and I. It's kind of an unspoken vibe.
It's complicated.
"Yeah." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Oh yeah?Who?" She asked, placing her glass on the table eagerly… not breaking eye contact.
I couldn't help but stare at her lips as she spoke.
"Don't worry about it." I smiled causing her to smile back.
"Well then, gotta get back to work so we can leave." She said, as she got up and walked over to her desk.
She's perfect in more ways than she'll ever know.
Belinda's POV
We then got up from the couch and I continued with work. I love working. It takes my mind off things.
At exactly 11pm we left the office and Jackson drove us home. He lives with me, and no that doesn't complicate things at all.
I think.
There was paparazzi everywhere when we arrived home. Don't these people have lives? It's literally almost 12 am.
Jackson does what I pay him to do and we enter safely.
"Goodnight." He said, locking the door behind him.
"I'm not tired." I laughed taking my coat off.
"Yeah well I am. Goodnight Bel."
He then kissed my forehead and disappeared into the hallway.
I should probably get some rest then. Staying up alone is no fun.
I'm glad he takes his job seriously but sometimes I wish he didn't.
After settling into bed, I immediately drifted off to dream land. Unfortunately for tonight...not the pleasant kind.
Jackson's POV
I usually wait at least an hour after I hear her door close before sleeping just to make sure she's okay, but for some reason tonight I fell asleep while waiting.
"HELP!"
I didn't hear it the first time, but the second time I did I pulled my gun off the dresser and rushed into Belinda's room.
When I looked around I realised there was nobody but her in the room.
Was I imagining that scream? It sounded so real.
I decided to sit in her room for the rest of the night just to make sure she's safe. I barely blinked.
I know what I heard I'm not crazy.
"HELP!"
There she goes again, but...she's asleep.
"Fuck..." I didn't know what to do.
When I walked closer, she was shaking. Her entire body was… shaking and she was frowning.
I even noticed the tear streaming down her cheek because her LED's are on.
"Bel..."I whispered without touching her in an attempt to wake her up.
She cried out for help again but this time louder than the previous times, causing her to wake up shaking hysterically.
I immediately laid next to her and held her in my arms.
"Let go of me!" She cried out but I didn't move a muscle. If anything I held her tighter.
"It's just me Belinda...breathe...."
"I'm sorry I woke you." Her voice broke.
"Shhh"
"It was just a dream,I think I'll be okay...you can.."She tried to dismiss me.
"Bel...I've got you."
I've never seen her like this...
Nothing scares me but this...seeing her like this...kind of did...a lot.
She's my weakness and she doesn't even know it.
"Okay. Don't let go." She eventually gave in.
"I would never."I reassured her.
I meant those words literally and figuratively.
"I'm sorry I woke you…"
"Hey…it's okay." I tried to reassure her.
