c54: Godly Rice (The Birth of Ultimate Gohan)
"Hahaha! Vegeta has finally become part of me! What overwhelming power this feels incredible!"
The newly transformed Bebuu Majin Buu after absorbing Vegeta laughed maniacally as his aura flared crimson and gold. The energy rippled through the ruins of the battlefield, splitting the clouds apart. His leaner body shimmered with lightning, and his expression carried both Buu's madness and Vegeta's pride.
"This power... it's magnificent! The Saiyan prince's fury, his speed, his combat instinct, it's all mine now! Hahahaha!"
Back in the Sacred World of the Kai, Son Goku stood before the Elder Kai's crystal ball, his expression grave. The orb glowed with a live image of Earth Buu's energy tearing apart entire cities.
"No... Vegeta's ki just vanished," Goku muttered, his fists trembling. "He's been absorbed by Buu! Damn it his power's skyrocketed! This is bad… really bad!"
"What?! Uncle Vegeta was absorbed by Majin Buu?" Son Gohan turned sharply, his face full of shock.
"Yeah," Goku replied grimly. "Buu couldn't defeat Vegeta outright, but his regeneration and absorption abilities make him nearly unstoppable. Vegeta didn't finish him fast enough, and Buu took advantage of that. Now his power has jumped again he's stronger than ever."
Even Shin, the Supreme Kai, went pale. "This is terrible! Buu's strength has already exceeded what the gods can handle. If this continues, not even this realm will be safe!"
The Elder Kai, who had been holding his hands over Gohan's head in concentration, sighed. "Enough talk. The ritual is complete. His potential has been fully unlocked. He's ready."
"Already?" Goku asked in surprise.
"Yes," said the Elder Kai, stepping back and cracking his joints. "It took a lot less time than expected, but this boy's hidden power was immense. He's surpassed even my expectations. Go on, kid show them your true strength."
Gohan opened his eyes slowly. His expression was calm, his gaze sharper than ever before. He clenched his fists and inhaled deeply.
"Haah…"
A deep rumble echoed across the Kai World. The ground shook violently as white and gold energy erupted from his body, shattering the nearby cliffs.
"Aaaahhhhhhh!!"
A massive surge of divine ki burst outward, covering the entire Sacred World in light. His aura was unlike anything seen before not the crackling lightning of a Super Saiyan, but a calm, radiant glow filled with divine energy.
"Whoa! What power…!" Goku's eyes widened. Even as a Super Saiyan 3, he could feel that Gohan's ki had surpassed his own. "It's incredible… he's even stronger than me at full power!"
"This… this is beyond Super Saiyan!" Shin whispered, shielding his eyes from the light.
Gohan's energy finally stabilized, his hair returning to black, but his eyes gleamed with a fierce determination. He stood tall no golden aura, no transformation spark yet his presence alone shook the divine realm.
The Elder Kai grinned proudly. "Heh, that's the result of my unlocking your hidden potential. That calm energy you feel isn't a transformation, it's the real you, the power you've always had but never used. This is the ultimate state."
Goku smiled faintly. "Heh, looks like the title 'Ultimate Gohan' fits perfectly."
Gohan looked down toward the crystal ball, seeing Earth engulfed in chaos. "I can feel him… Buu's ki has changed again. It's darker, colder. He's fused with Vegeta's strength… but it doesn't matter. I'll end this now."
"Then go," said the Elder Kai, handing him the Kai Earring. "Take this use it if you must fuse with your father. But remember, boy, you may not even need it."
Gohan nodded, his expression full of confidence. He raised two fingers to his forehead, gathering divine energy.
"Alright. Time to put an end to Majin Buu."
In an instant, Gohan vanished from the Supreme Kai world in a flash of white light, heading straight for Earth.
The Elder Kai smirked. "Heh, just wait, Buu. The real battle begins now."
At this moment, Son Gohan ascended to an entirely new level — the Mystic Form, the ultimate awakening of his dormant potential.
The strongest single warrior of the original timeline had been reborn!
"Oh? This aura belongs to Gohan," Lin Hao murmured as he sensed the immense surge from the Sacred World of the Kai.
"It seems the old Supreme Kai really drew out all his hidden power. Right now, his strength has temporarily surpassed even Son Goku's Super Saiyan 3. No wonder he was hailed as the strongest mortal in the original story. Let's just hope he doesn't waste time fighting Buu… otherwise, I might have to step in myself."
In the Supreme Kai's world, Gohan stood tall his hair black, his eyes sharp, surrounded by a calm, white divine aura that radiated incredible pressure. The very ground beneath him trembled.
"So strong… this is the power that's been sleeping inside me all along? I've never felt anything like this before!"
For the first time, Gohan felt utterly confident so much that even his father's power as a Super Saiyan 3 seemed small in comparison.
"As expected of you, Gohan," Supreme Kai Shin said with joy. "With this strength, you can definitely defeat the Buu who absorbed Vegeta. I can feel it you've surpassed even the gods. The universe might finally be saved!"
"This," the Old Supreme Kai said proudly, "is the true path for a Saiyan. No reckless transformations, no losing oneself to rage this is the purest form of strength, the perfect balance of power and spirit!"
But if Lin Hao had been standing nearby, he'd surely smack the old Kai on the head.
"What nonsense.calling this the strongest Saiyan form already? You haven't even seen Super Saiyan 3 or the fusion states yet!"
"Oh, Elder Kai," Goku said, walking over eagerly, "you're incredible! You actually raised Gohan's strength this much. Think you could do the same for me?"
The Old Supreme Kai coughed awkwardly. "Ahem! It's not impossible, but don't you think this is hardly the right time? The universe is still in danger! Save your boasting for later."
"Ah! You're right!" Goku scratched his head sheepishly. "Alright, Gohan let's go! If we don't hurry, Earth won't be there when we get back."
"Mr. Goku, Gohan, go now!" Supreme Kai Shin said firmly. "With your combined strength, I believe you can stop Buu for good!"
"Understood, Supreme Kai-sama," Gohan replied. "Leave Majin Buu to us!"
With that, Goku placed two fingers to his forehead, locking onto Buu's terrifying ki, and in an instant, both vanished with Instant Transmission.

"Hmm?" Buu turned his head as two bright flashes appeared before him. His face twisted into a grin. "Oh, you two again? Are you here to entertain me before I destroy this planet?"
"Buu," Gohan said coldly, his aura flaring like silver fire, "you'd better release Uncle Vegeta now. Otherwise, I'll tear you apart until there's nothing left."
"Hahaha! Tear me apart?" Bebuu sneered, his expression full of mockery. "You can try but you'll regret it."
The two vanished at the same time. Buu appeared beside Gohan in an instant, swinging a kick but Gohan easily blocked it with one hand, sending him flying backward with a punch that shattered mountains. In the blink of an eye, Gohan followed up with a flurry of blows, each faster and heavier than lightning.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Buu roared in frustration, trying to counter, but Gohan's attacks were relentless. Within moments, Bebuu realized he was outmatched. His regeneration could barely keep up.
"Unbelievable…" Goku thought, watching from afar. "He's completely overpowering him! My son… he's really become the strongest fighter in the universe."
But as the battle dragged on, Gohan's confidence began to turn into arrogance. He kept toying with Buu instead of finishing him.
And that arrogance cost him dearly.
While pretending to be weakened, Bebuu secretly released a thin stream of pink slime that slithered behind Gohan. The moment Gohan charged in for the final blow, the slime shot forward and wrapped around him completely.
"What—!?" Gohan struggled, but before he could break free, the slime engulfed him whole. His aura vanished into Buu's body.
"Hahaha! You fool!" Bebuu laughed triumphantly. "You thought you could defeat me, but now your power is mine!"
In an instant, Buu's body changed again leaner, sharper, his aura exploding into unimaginable force. His power had multiplied several times over.
At that moment, Goku's face darkened. "No… Gohan's ki just disappeared too. Damn it! Buu absorbed him!"
Bebuu laughed, his voice echoing across the Earth. "Now my power is absolute! Vegeta, Gohan both inside me! Even Super Saiyan 3 can't stand against me now!"
Goku clenched his fists, realizing that even at his strongest, he might not be able to defeat this new Buu.
And one by one, every Saiyan on Earth except for Lin Hao, the mysterious traveler—was devoured by Buu's growing evil.
The final battle for the fate of the universe was about to begin.
