c55: Lin Hao Takes Action
Supreme Kai's World
"It's over… Son Goku and Gohan have both been absorbed by Majin Buu," said Supreme Kai Shin, trembling as he stared into the crystal ball. "Now… the entire universe will be annihilated by that monster."
But the Old Supreme Kai reacted differently.
"Idiots! Both of them absolute idiots!" he shouted, stamping his feet in anger. "I risked my divine energy unlocking Gohan's potential for nothing! Why do Saiyans always lose their heads the moment they feel a bit stronger? Reckless fools, the lot of them!"
The Old Kai's face turned red with fury as he grabbed his staff and jabbed it into the ground. "If they'd just finished the fight instead of showing off, this wouldn't have happened!"
"Ancestor," Shin said nervously, "what do we do now? There's no one left in the universe who can defeat Buu! Even Goku and Gohan are gone!"
"How should I know? You're the Supreme Kai, aren't you?" the Old Kai barked back, veins bulging on his forehead. "How can a god who's supposed to protect creation panic like a mortal? Useless, all of you!"
He smacked his own head in frustration, muttering curses about "Saiyan stupidity and divine incompetence."

Earth Tenkaichi Budokai Grounds
Lin Hao sighed heavily, standing apart from the remaining spectators. The once-lively arena was now silent, the sky thick with Buu's sinister ki that made the air tremble.
"It seems I have no choice but to step in…" he muttered, brushing dust off his jacket. "Typical. Every time, they let pride get in the way. In the original timeline, it's the same pattern Goku, Gohan, Vegeta… they never finish a fight until they're half-dead."
He walked toward a quiet spot, his expression turning serious. As he focused on the overwhelming presence dominating the planet, he whispered under his breath, "Found you."
And in the next instant his aura flickered, and he vanished.

High Above the Earth
"Uh-huh!" Lin Hao appeared midair, directly in front of Buu, whose energy burned like a crimson sun.
"Huh?" The monster stopped, glaring suspiciously. After absorbing Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, his features now resembled Son Goku spiky hair, orange gi, and a malicious grin twisting his face.
He was no longer just Majin Buu… he was Goku Buu, the strongest fusion of evil and Saiyan might.
"You… who are you?" Goku Buu asked, his voice an eerie mix of his absorbed victims.
"You don't need to know who I am," Lin Hao replied coolly, folding his arms. "You only need to know that I came here to destroy you."
A brief silence fell between them.
The wind howled. The clouds above split apart under the pressure of their energy.

"Heh. Arrogant little worm," Goku Buu sneered, eyes glowing red. "Since you're so eager to die, I'll grant your wish!"
His body blurred in a flash of light and in the blink of an eye, he was right in front of Lin Hao, throwing a devastating punch.
"Boom!"
But before Goku Buu's fist could connect, Lin Hao's fist drove deep into his stomach with impossible speed.
A shockwave rippled across the sky.
"Ugh! WAAAH!" Buu's eyes bulged, spit flying from his mouth as his body bent like a bow. His torso looked as though it had caved in.
"You call that an attack?" Lin Hao said coldly. "You're leagues below me."
With a flicker, he appeared above Goku Buu and slammed his knee into his chin, sending him careening into the air.
Then, gathering a tiny sphere of energy in his palm, he tossed it casually forward.
"Go."
"Fwoosh!"
The orb hit Buu square in the chest and detonated instantly.
"BOOOOM!!!"
The explosion tore through the clouds, splitting the sky with blinding light. When the smoke cleared, nothing remained not even a trace of Buu's pink flesh.

"Ancestor… he did it!" Supreme Kai Shin shouted in awe, gripping the crystal ball tightly. "He completely erased Buu!"
The Old Supreme Kai raised his brows. "Hmm? What's this? Has something new happened on Earth?"
His expression softened for the first time in ages. "Maybe… the universe still has a sliver of hope left after all."
The Old Supreme Kai, who had still been racking his brain for a solution, suddenly ran forward and knelt beside the crystal ball, eyes wide.
"Wh-What in the world?! Who is that guy? He defeated Buu so easily!"
Supreme Kai Shin was just as astonished. "I don't know… He seems to be a friend of Son Goku, and from his ki signature, he's a Saiyan too!"
"A Saiyan?" the Old Kai muttered, his long eyebrows twitching. "Impossible… I didn't expect another Saiyan this powerful to exist in this era!"
His old, wrinkled face leaned closer to the crystal ball as if trying to see Lin Hao more clearly. "That energy… it's calm but infinite. Even Son Goku's Super Saiyan 3 can't compare!"

Back on the Battlefield
"Puff!"
A mass of pink, bubbling flesh began to rise and twist in midair, regenerating with a disgusting squelch. In moments, Goku Buu's form reappeared—his aura flaring like wildfire.
"Damn you!" he roared, veins bulging on his forehead. "You'll pay for humiliating me!"
The ground trembled under his power as blue lightning crackled in the air. Goku Buu's rage burned through the sky this time, he wasn't holding back.
He raised both hands, energy swirling into massive, unstable spheres. "I'll blow you to pieces!!"
Lin Hao crossed his arms, unamused. "So you still don't understand. Fine… I'll show you real power. I can't let you cause another mess."
His golden aura burst to life in a blinding flash Super Saiyan 2.
Lightning danced across his body as his energy surged far beyond Goku Buu's comprehension.

Goku Buu's eyes widened. "T-That transformation…! So you are like them the Saiyans I absorbed!"
Lin Hao smirked, his hair swaying in the golden storm. "I'm far beyond them."
Then whoosh! his figure vanished.
Before Goku Buu could even blink, Lin Hao appeared right in front of him.
"Boom!!"
A single punch crashed into Buu's gut. His eyes rolled back as purple blood burst from his mouth.
"Gwaaah!!"
The shockwave from the impact shattered mountains and cracked the clouds.
Lin Hao didn't stop there he unleashed a storm of blows.
"Da-da-da-da-da-da-da!!"
Each strike landed faster than sound. Lin Hao's fists and feet became golden flashes, tearing into Goku Buu's body from every direction.
Finally, with a final uppercut, Lin Hao sent Buu crashing deep into the ground, creating a crater miles wide.
"Fwoosh!"
Without mercy, Lin Hao charged both palms with concentrated ki and fired a barrage of energy blasts into the crater.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!"
The ground split apart, magma spewing into the air. The energy detonations shook the entire planet, creating shockwaves that could be felt even from space.
But Lin Hao didn't intend to destroy Buu completely not yet.
"Not bad," he murmured. "But if I vaporize you now, I'll lose the ones trapped inside you… Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, and even the original Fat Buu. I'll have to extract them first."

The battle continued, with Goku Buu being completely dominated.
He regenerated again and again, but Lin Hao's speed was beyond anything he could react to. Every regeneration ended the same way another explosion, another defeat.
At last, realizing he couldn't win head-on, Goku Buu smirked darkly. "If I can't beat you… then I'll absorb you!"
He spread his pink flesh outward like a net, lunging toward Lin Hao.
But Lin Hao only smiled. "That's exactly what I wanted."
Without resistance, he allowed himself to be engulfed by the slimy, writhing membrane.

Inside Buu's Body
The scene was grotesque twisting tunnels of living flesh, pulsating energy spheres, and strange cocoons holding captured warriors.
Lin Hao moved through the organic maze unharmed, his aura illuminating the darkness.
"There they are…" he muttered, spotting Vegeta, Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Fat Buu encased within energy pods.
With one swing of his arm, Lin Hao shattered the membranes, freeing them all. "You've rested long enough. Time to leave."
As the four unconscious figures disappeared from the absorption field, Buu's inner world began to collapse.
Outside, the evil within Majin Buu split apart, and from the wreckage emerged Kid Buu, the purest, most destructive form of all.
"Buuuuuu!!!" The monster screamed, his tiny frame shaking the entire planet.
But Lin Hao had already emerged, eyes glowing gold. "I won't give you the chance to destroy anything else."
He raised both hands.
"Kamehameha… multiplied tenfold!"
A blinding beam of divine energy roared forward, swallowing Kid Buu completely.
The explosion consumed the horizon, erasing every trace of evil.
When the light faded, silence returned to Earth.

"Finished. What a boring battle," Lin Hao said calmly, lowering his arms. His aura flickered and vanished.
He looked down at the unconscious Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Fat Buu lying nearby. With a faint smile, he gathered them in his energy field.
"Let's go home."
And with a burst of golden light, Lin Hao flew toward West City (Xidu), the battle finally over for now.
