Chapter 9 - Chapter Eight: Aesthryne Solace

Jwala sat beside her son under the vast canopy of stars, gently patting his head as he rested on her lap.

"Son… what really happened after I was gone?"

He inhaled slowly, eyes still dark and covered in celestial mist.

He, with his calm voice, said," Someone powerful attacked us, and it was so sudden that he is on par with the demigod level, but after he tried to kill me in one single strike, and he charged at me with all his might, Saki took the blow while saving me.

And after that, he blew himself up. And thanks to this cloak you made, it saved me from the explosion, but Saki pushed me towards the celestial tears after it entered my eyes....

After that

"It's kind of a blur… but I'll try to explain."

"When the Tear Drops entered my eyes…

Everything went blind. But then, I saw something."

"A throne... a massive one.

Made of ashes, blood, bones, gold, silver—everything good and bad, pure and corrupted."

"Someone sat on it. Chained. Restrained by many things, but he doesn't seem weak; he just looks like he can break those chains whenever he wants, but he is not trying to do that....

Chains wrapped around the throne like snakes of light and shadow."

"But when the power of the Tears hit me…

One of the chains broke." "And the person sitting on the throne…

He smiled. "It's more like a grin, not a smile.

He looked exactly like me. But he is like the adult version of me, but only looks...

But with eyes that burned brighter than mine…

Eyes that weren't just red—they were absolute."

"His clothes… his intimidating presence… it felt like dominance, like the universe would kneel if he spoke."

"I don't know who he was.

Maybe it was just a weird dream..."

He trailed off.

Jwala's face was unreadable.

"Huh, that is good, son," she said quietly. You are not harmed.

From today onwards, I'll never leave your side. What do you say, Darling?

But Mom, I also want to be powerful. I want to protect you and everyone who cares about me.

Ahhh, you are truly like me in my young days. "From today, I'll train you hard—physically. You'll rebuild your body for what's coming."

What do you say, Honey?

"What about Saki?" he asked softly.

Jwala smiled gently.

"Descendants of Sarpavana have a pseudo-heart, son. And it will be in a flame form that is called as true heart flame.

The true Heart Flame burns deep in the undergrounds of Sarpamukhi." In Flame Chambers.

"As long as that flame exists... I can bring them back."

The boy smiled—bright, innocent, full of belief.

"I knew it, Mom. You're the strongest."

Jwala took a blindfold cloth, which is made with the highest-grade silk and embroidered with the Queen's crest, to cover Rudra's eyes.

The sun burned high. The days passed with sweat and endless drills. But the smile on him never fades....

And then one day, Jwala sat beside him as they cooled near the Sarpamukhi river.

"Honey, tell me—what's your element?" Like what do you feel while meditating.....

"Element?" he blinked. With a stupid expression.

"Yeah," she smiled.

"Mine is Flame—a flame that flows like water, and I named my flame as scorching sea flame..."

"The Red Water Sovereign? He had dual elements—blood and water."

"Everyone has a natural element. It connects to your personality, your spirit. But to awaken it, you have to feel it." To put it simply, you need it realize it. At first, everyone has the same element with similar or the same properties. Our environment affects our element, like if you train your element in the core area of Sarpavana, you will gain scorching sea flame like me. Like that, our environment decides how our element turns out at last....

He tilted his head.

"So how do I figure it out?"

She smiled.

"Explore your Consciousness."

He closed his eyes.

Inside, he floated through darkness, and then a massive ripple surged across his soul.

Two forces greeted him:

One was familiar, flowing with warmth and destruction—a flame.

The other… was cold, vast, timeless. A twisting current of infinite folds—Unknown

He opened his eyes.

"Mom… I think I have flame… and something I don't know what it is that it doesn't like any element at all?"

Jwala flowed with extreme excitement, impressed.

"Makes sense. You inherited flame from me through the milk. And the Unknown ... that's yours alone." Does it look like Space or Time...

"Dual elements aren't uncommon. Some even have three or four. But remember—your environment shapes your core." "To master your flame, you'll need to train somewhere blistering. Like… Sarpamukhi's heart."

He paused. Then that spark of playful and creative.

"Every flame's hot, right?"

Jwala laughed gently.

"Yes, honey. But not all flames burn the same. Some can burn stars to dust in an instant, some can struggle with roses.

Intensity changes with the core—and the environment."

He closed his eyes, deep in thought.

"Then I'm going to make a flame that burns cold. Like it needs to burn everything with its coldness...so scorching...

One that feels like ice. That gives off a chill that screams death."

Jwala blinked. Then smiled.

"You're full of surprises, my boy."

The Core of the South Pole is actually called Void Den, the coldest place you can find on this Avans realm.

If you want to practice your element there to extreme cold, that is the best one. But Flame will reject that cold, but you're my son, so there's nothing that can't be done by you.

They started for their journey, Jwala whispered, and the boat came by, tearing through the voids by a helmswoman.

Rudra asked, Mom, I haven't seen this boat. The smell and sound from it make me too excited. Does this boat have a name?

Yes, Honey, this boat is called Nymphs Echo.

The woman sailing this boat, her name is Enthralles Aria. She is a beauty, actually, and her voice can take over souls, so she lost her ability to sing, but she sacrificed her total clan to nature and regained her voice, but it lost its soul takeover ability....

But her voice had the same sweetness and allure.

While listening to her story, they eventually reached the Void den.

They descended together, deeper than any mortal had dared. Into the true heart of the South Pole.

A place where—Snow froze time. Air turned to crystal.

And the River of Mercury flows in reverse. It is an absolute Vision.

Honey, meditate here, and sometimes chasm beasts lurk around here. You can kill them, so I'll go and prepare for something. What do you say?

Of course, Mom.

Here, the boy sat, legs crossed, sweat freezing on his brow. He called upon his fire… but demanded it evolve. Not just to burn. But to chill.

A flame of death's stillness.

While he trained in silence, Jwala stepped away by adding a barrier.

Her eyes looked to the stars—and she vanished.

Jwala soared across continents, her aura like a burning comet.

She gathered two impossibly rare materials:

A fragment of the Moon, cold and imbued with lunar resonance. A mutated ore of the Sun, fused with solar storms and chaos flame.

Finding them was easy for her.

But crafting them?

Only one being could do that justice.

The palace stood carved from unbreakable stone, layered in dragon runes.

She walked through the main hall like a silent storm.

Draganora Silva—a towering beast cloaked in obsidian hide and silver fur—watched her approach with narrowed eyes.

"You're here again, Queen," he growled. You and I are ancient beasts, but you are gaining more power, and I'm losing more time.

Jwala smirked. You are the only one who is worthy to do this.

"I need a weapon forged. Not an order. A trade." "Then speak your price."

"Serpent Eye Jade." Silva scoffed.

Are you sure about that? "You know that jade doesn't work on Sarpavana descendants."

"What fool uses a spell that can't be turned against him?" He chuckled.

"Deal. Come back in six days."

"Not sword," she added. He froze. It is for my son...

"...Your son?"

She nodded. "You heard me."

Six Days Later...

The twin crescent blades pulsed with otherworldly power.

Carved from celestial ores, sharp enough to slice thought itself.

She took them.

Handed him the jade.

Then whispered as she turned—

"Careful. It carries backlash. " If you died, I need to reach another blacksmith, but she is too mad... Leave that aside...

And then—She was gone.

Back home, she knelt before a sealed ritual.

The blades lay gently on silk.

And behind her, the scrolls for the resurrection of her bloodline began to glow...

In Void den...

His body was sealed, his soul wrapped in glacial death. His flame core rejected it at first—clashed violently with it. Every breath was agony.

He clashed with many beasts to train his flame, and he never killed the beast; the beasts in the void den seem to have developed intelligence, and they eventually accepted him as one of them due to his beastly appearance and aura he gained from his mother....

But he never faltered.

Three months passed.

Then—acceptance.

The core began to shift. Ice turned to flow. Flow turned to flame.

And flame... turned to deathly stillness.

One Year Later...

A boy walked free from the heart of the Void den.

In his palm, danced a flame of pure white, edged in radiant, silent, terrifying.

He named the flame Aesthryne Solace.

He returned to Sarpamukhi.

Jwala saw him and ran—her arms outstretched, her power forgotten.

She hugged him so tightly the flame nearly sputtered.

"You've grown, my son…"

She placed a necklace around his neck—her royal pendant.

And handed him a box.

Inside? The twin crescent blades.

"Let's begin the resurrection ritual."

She smiled. But her eyes held something hidden.

They gathered near the sacred flame of Sarpavana.

Jwala knelt. Whispered a chant. The air cracked. The space trembled.

Saki was reborn from her Soul heart flame...

Her eyes opened slowly. Alive. Breathing.

"Serve him from now on," Jwala said gently,

Then she leaned close to her son's ear.

"We'll meet again, my son. Take care. Eat well."

"When we meet again, I want to see my grandchildren."

"And don't flirt with every girl you meet."

"Don't cry, either. Crying is for the weak…"

My dear Rudra ... Rudra Agathes....

And then—She vanished.

"...Mom?"

He stood in stunned silence.

Saki watched quietly, unsure.

Rudra and Saki teleported out of Sarpamukhi...

Adithi, biting into a juicy sunsettia, strolled by like it was just another Tuesday.

"Resurrection always costs something, right?"

"This one? It cost her freedom."

He looked up at the boy.

"Your mother will be locked for a hundred years in a realm where nothing exists. No time. No light. No motion." The true nothingness....

The boy's fists clenched.

"Can it be undone?"

Adithi nodded. Of course, Young Master...
