Chapter 8 - Chapter Seven: Celestial Tears

The days leading up to the convergence passed like a dream.

The Boy and Saki spent their time playing in the snow, sculpting beasts from ice, racing through frost-covered caves, and laughing beneath the cold sun. His mother took him fishing beneath frozen rivers and held him close when the night grew too cold.

For once, life was peaceful.

He asked the question.

"Saki… what are the Celestial Tear Drops, really?"

Saki turned to him with a tone of reverence she rarely used.

"Young master," she began seriously,

"The Celestial Tear forms only when something divine occurs in the glowing realm... like the birth of an ultimate star or the death of one."

"When the Seven Nebulas converge, the gravitational force of the nebulae increases, they pour all of their essence and give birth to a new ultimate star...

And the energy leftover becomes a plasma drop. That's the Celestial tear."

He, with a dumb face, What is plasma?

Plasma is like matter; it is like a glowing gas with extreme heat.

Oh, that is pretty awesome.

And stars are sacred. If anyone harms anything in the glowing realm, they will be affected with a divine-grade sin no less. The severe the harm, the more powerful the sin, and the destroying stars are known to be the primal curse or first celestial sin.

"The fewer the drops, the more powerful they are now. In ancient times, it rained with pure essence and power, but I heard that there is someone with a primal curse on this world, Avans."

So that is why our world Avans rarely get anything from the Glowing realm.

I don't know really who they are, but if they really step on the surface of Avans, Avans will be turned into ruins due to the weight of their sin. If they are real, I don't know how they have that much power to destroy a star.

But Celestial tears are like a blessing to this world.

She grinned.

"That's why everyone wants it. But don't worry... the Tears are ours. The Queen is with us.

Let them come." And then…

The day arrived.

Blizzards are rampaging through the Icy barren lands.

The auroras disappeared.

And the sky tore open. Across the South Pole, a portal shattered into existence. Dozens of factions arrived—cloaked in gold, shadow, lightning, steel—each claiming the drop for their own.

The earth trembled as celestial energies coiled around the heart of the cave.

And then—

A man stepped forward.

The power surging from his body turned the snow to blood mist.

Eyes crimson, armor rippling like liquid shadow, a voice echoed through the land:

"I am the Sovereign of Red Waters. The Sangvious Vermillion IV in flesh.

Let the Tear be claimed in battle. Fight like a Warrior. Valuables must be earned, not taken.

Anyone who can defeat me... may take it."

As Sovereign, his pride made him blind.

Many people are talking behind his back

"What a sovereign? bullying us the weak"

"If you are powerful, go and claim the black sword from the Sinner of Cursed Lands."

"Is he real? I think he is fake. Does anyone just come and tell iam sovereign?"

someone really dared to confront him, he died without knowing how he died...

He is a good demonstration right now. You weaklings have no place here. Vanish from my sight and walk away while you still sense the world. You weaklings are making the air here so sick.

Reality itself broke open behind him, like a mirror snapping.

You got ahead of yourself really quickly, you ant.

Jwala. She, with a rose in her hand. Everyone knelt under her overwhelming presence without knowing who came. Even the Sovereign. Everyone is unable to move; some are already knocked out, and some have left the world, reaching the soul realm.

Sovereign, with a struggling voice, I am really glad to see your presence, your majesty.

His inner voice is like, "This bitch isn't dead before 300 years ago in the Great Invasion?"

"Why is she even here? Why does she need something so trivial like these tears?"

"I don't want to die."

Her voice was soft and freezing. I'll give you a chance today if you can escape from me within this southern hemisphere; I'll let you go. And I'll give you a head start, and once the tears reach before 100 prasthas from the surface, I'll start my hunt.

The Sovereign of Red Water turned slowly. A chill slid down his spine. For the first time in eons… he hesitated. And he knows that is the only option he has; he accepted the offer. No, she made him take.

He, with some confidence, I know she is faster but isn't too prideful to catch me before the tears reach 100 prasthas from the surface. that gives me like 120 minutes. This time, I really won, but I can't underestimate her. I need to escape from here at full speed. He used one of his signature techniques, the Surging Mist of Blood. With this technique, he turns into mist in the form of blood surging like water, and he devours everything that possesses blood in his way.

She went to the cave again and with a sweet tone, honey, you and the maid go to the spot and I'll return after a few hours, or you can go after two hours to the place she will guide, just take the tears and come here, okay maid will guide you there ....hee-hee...

And here

The battle for tears began among every faction and every person. The killing spree is ongoing.

The tears reached the 100 prasthas from the surface, and she disappeared from the cave

Saki, with a soft voice, "Young master, maybe it is time for us to reach the stage.

but the thing Sangvious doesn't know is already on par with deities.

She suddenly appeared behind him with a praise, "You sure had a good leg to run, "Vermillion.

He realized today is not his day, but he never intended to give up on his life, so he activated the forbidden art of soul escape, which can trap an enemy for half an hour in nether space and take his power and life span half, and he escaped while she trapped and even that art can only sustain ten minutes at most against her but he is already on the verge of northern hemisphere he is alive

Maid and Young Rudra reached the stage

Around them, the battlefield fractured.

Other factions and powerful people, sensing the overwhelming energy, fled or were scattered to distant edges of the world.

And finally

The Celestial Tears began to fall within the visible range.

Glowing. Burning. The essence is erasing everything that is within its range.

Jwala was not there, so everyone seemed to on high spirits

The sky was shattered open. The factions were scattering. But the Celestial Tear Drops… they were falling like a moon descending to destroy the Avans.

The boy clenched his fists.

Beside him, Saki smiled, her breath visible in the freezing air.

"Maybe… It's our turn to fight, huh?" He nodded.

They faced warriors from the various factions from the world, even the Surandha empire was there. They fought with desperation, with instinct, with Bare hands, and she with her innate magical powers. But he is too soft to kill anyone, even in sarpavana; he never killed anyone, so he knocked everyone.

But fate…is something he can change, but he doesn't know that he can...

Fate doesn't always play fair.

A blade came from behind.

A hidden enemy who has already reached the level of sovereign from his looks, he is not from Avans...

His blade reached the head of Rudra. Saki, with a protective nature, shielded him

Saki agonizingly screamed, "Agh—!" and the murderer blasted himself into pieces...

Blood painted the snow.

She was thrown meters away, crashing into the frozen earth.

"SAKI!!"

The boy turned in horror.

But she—bleeding, shaking, gasping—smiled through it all.

"You… you have to reach it… It's right there…"

Before crashing to the ground, she, with everything she had left, raised her hand, channeling every last drop of her life force—And pushed him forward.

Right into the Celestial Stage. The convergence climaxed.

And then—

Two Celestial Tear Drops fell.

One for each eye.

The world paused.

The light pierced him. His body screamed.

And then—

He screamed louder and louder. "AAAGGHHH!!"

Pain. Grief. Rage. Resentment. A storm surged from his soul.

The very ground shattered.

Mountains collapsed. Lakes evaporated. Space rippled and broke.

He fell.

And everything went black.

One Year Later...

The sun shone gently over Sarpavana.

Inside the little wooden home by the river… the boy stirred.

His fingers twitched. His chest rose with breath.

He blinked.

 Total Darkness.

"Mom…?"

A rush of movement. A gasp.

Jwala knelt beside him, her hand gently cupping his cheek.

"Son… you're awake."

His voice cracked.

"Mom… I can't see… anything."

She bit her lip, swallowing the tears.

"Your eyes… are rejecting the Celestial power.

It's not pain. Just… a divine delay. Your vision will return." "Really…?"

"Yes. At this pace, it may take five years.

And when that day comes… you'll see my face again."

He smiled faintly. "Five years… that's too long.

But if it means seeing you, I'll wait." Silence. Peace.

Then—"Mom… what about Saki? She's… alive, right?" Jwala looked down.

And smiled.

"Of course, honey. My descendants of Sarpavana don't die so easily."

"They only leave… when age or secrets take them."
