Avelina could not believe her eyes. Her friend lay there asleep. It was like she had been reading and waiting for Avelina to return. The chauffeur seemed even more shocked, as he did not expect that at all—in fact, he was in disbelief.
He stepped out as he moved to open the door for Avelina. It was then Roxie moved from where she was lying. She sat up as she yawned; her eyes turned to Ariana, who now stood staring at her. She immediately sat up with a wide smile on her lips.
"Linaaaa!" she screamed loudly, not minding that she was outside. She stood as she ran, pulling Avelina into a deep hug. Avelina rolled her eyes as she hugged her back—she could not believe her friend was already acting like they had not met in years.
Roxie pulled away as she began kissing Avelina's cheeks countless numbers of times. Avelina rolled her eyes again but smiled softly.
