"Thank you for bringing me into a room," Isadora said to Salvatore.
"You're welcome. I would have brought you to the room you used to stay in before, but you know, things change."
"I understand." She sat on the bed, and just stared mindlessly at the wall.
"Did you hope for a different outcome when you came in?" He asked after a few seconds had passed between them in silence.
She shifted her gaze to him. "You know I can't lie. I had a feeling he might have been with Daniela now. So I was just going to relay my messages, and then leave. But when I saw him again, all of those feelings came rushing in. I fell in love with him, you know? Hopelessly too. Aurora knew. She would tease me all the time about it."
"He cared for you. You were a light he needed at the time. That we all needed."
