"I'll text you the address to my home. Please leave whatever you're doing and come over immediately," Sebastian ordered, his tone sharp, controlled—though beneath it, a hint of desperation trembled faintly.
"Okay, sir. I'll be there," Kairen replied, voice flat and unreadable.
"And…" Sebastian added quickly, as if afraid to lose control of the moment. "Change into better clothes before coming here. Don't wear those janitor things." His voice carried that usual air of dominance, but deep down, it was a plea disguised as command.
You bet, Kairen said to himself, lips curling slightly.
"Okay, sir," he responded aloud, calm and compliant—too compliant.
"Don't keep me waiting… my dad doesn't play with punctuality," Sebastian finalized, then ended the call. He didn't even bother saying goodbye to Celeste. He had gotten what he wanted: confirmation that Kairen was okay and would be coming soon. Whatever happened between Kairen and Celeste after this wasn't his concern.
