Ravenna and Drayce walked into the school's compound. The college occupied a large expanse of land. It was a school catering to various social classes, offering high school facilities and qualified lecturers.
"I love the smell of an early morning" Raven said as she pretended to gather the smell closer to her.
"I hate mornings" Drayce countered, his face scrunched up.
"That's because your course combinations for today are bullshit, right?"
"Yep, hours of being stuck to a chair."
"Don't worry, this is our last year in college anyway."
"Hmm, hmm, see that's Rayna coming." Drayce gestured pointing.
"Yeah, here comes the parrot," Rayna said.
"Hey guys, how was the weekend"
"Weekend was fantastic," Drayce replied, while Raven looked away.
"Oh, come on, Raven, I'm sorry about last week, I didn't intend to push you. It was a foolish mistake on my part."
"Of course, it's always a mistake," Raven replied, sarcastically.
"I'm gonna leave you guys to sort yourselves out. See you during break." Drayce informed as he sprints off.
"My ass still hurts badly, y'know"
I'mm sorry"
"But what got you so apprehensive"
"Well I saw Adrien"
"Adrien...who is Adrien?" Raven asked raising an eyebrow.
"Adrien, my crush. He was coming into the cafeteria, and it seemed like he had just walked out of a picture. But your clothes were stained with spaghetti sauce, that the waiter had unknowingly spilt on you, I couldn't risk looking like a fool hanging out with someone who y'know... was covered in spaghetti..." Rayna trailed off as she studied Raven's expression.
"So I'm guessing you did the wisest thing possible. Pushed me away"
"I'm sorry, I'm gonna make it up to you, I promise, whatever it takes, you just name it", Rayna pleaded, her voice sounded sincere and her gaze resolute.
"Don't worry it's fine, although I had smelled like tomato sauce all afternoon. But I get that you always behave like a fool whenever Adrien is near. Anyway, let's get to class" Raven responded dismissively.
"What! Like a fool! That's a l..." Her voice trailed off as she sighted Adrien strolling lazily in their direction from the opposite direction. Hands in pocket, sunglasses on despite the cloudy morning.
Raven rolled her eyes as she walked ahead, leaving Rayna to catch up.
"Always behaving like a love-stricken fool, fuck she needs to snap out of it"
"Wait up Raven!"
"Walk faster"
"Oh my goodness, Raven! Did you see Adrien? He looked so so...."
"Full of himself. What exactly is your deal with Adrien?" Raven interrupted, completing the statement.
"My deal is that he is so, so, so fucking handsome", Rayna replied, a furious blush covering her face.
"I wouldn't date someone merely because he's got the looks or he's handsome. I would be with someone sensible, understanding and loving, unlike you, who chases every man that looks handsome," Raven replied, taunting.
"Ouch that hurt"
"It was meant to"
Raven and Rayna walk into class and bring out their notepads and pens. A man walks in, his round, nerdish glasses resting on the bridge of his nose, his tie is neatly knotted—clearly a professor. Next to him is a girl dressed in a mini pink skirt and pink jacket to match, smiling broadly.
"Class, this is Arianna Fangborn. She's a new student, and although we rarely accept students in the last year of college, we will make an exception. Raven Silver" The professor suddenly called
"Yes, sir", Raven answered, gesturing with her hand. She was slightly startled when the professor called her.
"Your course combination is the most similar to Arianna Fangborn's so be her school guide until she gets fully accustomed to the college"
"Sure sir" Raven replied
"Find a seat, Arianna, " the professor said, clearly having a soft spot for her, cause how many professors would personally introduce a new student to the class, Raven thought.
Arianna found an unoccupied seat and made herself comfortable.
"Why does it have to be me?" Raven lamented, frowning slightly.
"Don't be sad, you might like her"
"Maybe"
"Although she looks like those spoiled rich kids"
"Mhmh" Raven mumbled.
*****College break*****
"Hi Raven, I'm Arianna Fangborn, as you know"
"Raven Silver, as you also know "
Arianna giggled lightly.
"You seem friendly"
"That I am. Arianna, this is Rayna Baptist"
"Hi Arianna"
"Hi Rayna, nice to meet you"
"Same here"
"So, Arianna we were heading to the cafeteria, care to join us?"
"Sure"
All three of them progress towards the cafeteria as they conversed lightly.
Drayce is already seated.
"Arianna, this is Drayce, my best friend and Drayce meets Arianna, a new student" Raven introduced
"Pleased to meet you, Arianna"
"Same here, Drayce "
The four of them sit with Raven facing Drayce, while Arianna and Rayna also sit facing each other.
"I ordered pasta for three, I didn't know you'd be joining us", Drayce said, turning to Arianna.
"No that's alright, I'm not a fan of pasta"
After a few minutes, the pasta is served and they dig in.
"What are you all doing after school?"
"Well, Drayce and I are going job hunting"
"Why?"
"For money obviously "
"Okay, there is a new burger shop that just opened, it's a few distance away from school, you guys should apply"
"Hm, I guess we will check it out"
"What about you Arianna? Any plans for this afternoon?"
"Nothing in particular "
"Great, accompany me to New Adventure Park. Have you heard about it?"
"Nope, what's so great about New Adventure Park?" Arianna said leaning forward.
"I overheard Adrien and his group saying something about visiting the park"
"Always about Adrien" Raven interjected, shaking her head while Drayce chuckled.
"Who is Adrien?" Arianna questioned.
"Speak of the devil", Drayce said, gesturing to the door. They all turn to the door at they moment. Arianna feels drawn, and her wolf stirs. The smell of mate clouds her senses, Arianna turns to the source of the smell, stopping on the green-eyed boy. Tall and firm, his features handsome.
