Ryan's father walked slowly, thinking about Ryan. He thought Suzan was weak and might try to break them up, but she couldn't.
He decided to bring someone else into the plan.
He called a girl. "Hello, am I speaking with Mabel?" he asked.
"Yes, who is this?" she replied.
"Mabel, it's me, Uncle Damon. Remember Ryan? It's time for you to marry him," he said.
"That's great! I'm so excited," she said.
"But there's a problem," he warned. "Ryan has found his mate, and he won't accept you anymore. I just wanted to let you know."
"No way! Ryan is mine. I won't accept that he has a mate. I'll get rid of her," she said angrily.
"Do what you must, Mabel. If you don't, you'll lose him forever," he said.
"I'll be there by morning," she said.
"Okay, dear," he said and ended the call.
Mabel was furious. She had waited her whole life for Ryan, and now his mate was with him.
Mabel was the daughter of the former Omega in their pack. Ryan's father had always told her she would marry Ryan, and she believed him.
When Ryan went to the human world to become a CEO, she also went abroad to study business, hoping to be with him.
Even though Mabel had a mate, she rejected him—just like Suzan did—because she loved Ryan. She didn't know if Ryan loved her back, but she didn't care. She wanted to be the Luna, no one else.
Ryan's father smiled evilly. His plan was working. He knew Suzan and Mabel might fight, but he didn't care as long as Mia was out of the way.
