The Abyssal Dragon's eyes narrowed. The Sovereigns had dared to stagger it — dared to wound it.
The abyss stirred in response.
The throne-world grew quiet, too quiet, as if creation itself was holding its breath. Black cracks spiderwebbed across the dragon's chest, each one pulsing with hateful light. The Sovereigns froze, instincts screaming.
Kael's eyes widened."It's coming…"
The dragon inhaled.
And the world ended.
A torrent of abyssal energy erupted from its maw, a beam of annihilation so vast it carved the battlefield into nothingness. Everything in its path — rock, shadow, remnants of fallen bosses — ceased to exist.
Not burned.Not shattered.Unmade.
The Sovereigns braced.
Pyraflame unfurled his wings, igniting his Infernal Sovereign Domain. A vast conflagration surrounded him, turning the air into molten fire, bending the abyssal beam as his flames screamed against it.
Aquara raised her trident, and a vast ocean manifested, her Tidecaller Domain swallowing part of the breath in crushing tidal waves that refused to yield.
Terrathorn slammed both arms into the earth, his Titan's Domain sprouting walls of unyielding stone, layer after layer forming a bulwark against annihilation.
Voltra hurled himself into the storm, his body becoming lightning incarnate. His Stormlord's Domain wrapped the beam in searing arcs, splitting and fracturing its destructive path.
Zephyros screamed into the wind, invoking his Skybreaker Domain. Gales rose in walls, shredding and dispersing the abyssal energy in spiraling vortices.
Luminara spread her radiant wings, her Seraphic Dawn Domain unleashing pure light. The beam of abyss faltered against her brilliance, patches of black dissolving under divine rays.
Umbra, ever the shadow, poured forth his Nightstalker Domain, swallowing the edges of the attack, bleeding away its strength into eternal darkness.
Graknar, roaring louder than any, raised his axe, his Beastlord's Warcry Domain manifesting a battlefield itself — where every strike of the abyss was met with phantom armies, spectral warriors shattering themselves to weaken the breath.
Eight domains.
Eight worlds colliding against the abyss.
The throne-world shuddered. Kael's hair whipped violently in the storm, his heart pounding with both terror and awe. Sovereign against Sovereign. Creation's fury against the abyss's void.
The clash lasted seconds. But it felt like eternity.
And then—
The abyssal breath broke.Fractured.Shattered.
Explosions rippled across the throne, abyssal flame tearing apart distant spires, the battlefield drenched in molten ruin. The dragon staggered, smoke rising from its scales, wings scorched, chest cracked further from the feedback.
It had unleashed annihilation. And the Sovereigns had held.
Kael's eyes blazed. His staff pointed downward."NOW! BURY IT!"
The Sovereigns roared as one.
And above the dragon — the sky split open.
From his Summon Space, Kael released everything.
Kobolds, treants, goblins, beastmen, elemental soldiers — an entire army of sixteen thousand poured down like a storm of steel and fang. Necromanced bosses howled as they dived, bone and rot striking alongside living flesh.
The Abyssal Dragon, still reeling, could not rise fast enough. Its wings tried to spread — but Umbra's shadows pinned them, Terrathorn's stone roots locked them, and Aquara's waters dragged them downward.
The Sovereigns' counterattack had bought the army their opening.
The sky rained with Kael's legion, every summon burning with fury, blades glinting, spells screaming.
Kael's voice thundered through the battlefield."This is the end of your reign. You will not rise again!"
The army struck. The dragon roared. And the Final Battle of the Abyss truly began.
