Ivy wanted to take Nora out, since her meeting with her parent she only went to work and came back to her house looking miserable through out.
Ivy went to the house, determined to try to get Nora out.
Nora sat on her couch, staring blankly at the wall as Ivy burst into the room. "Girl, we're getting out of here!" Ivy declared, tossing a scarf around Nora's neck.
Nora started talking but Ivy was ready for all her whining, she couldn't do anything
As they strolled through the park, Nora's heavy heart began to lift, thanks to Ivy she felt blessed to have such a friend. The sun was shining brightly and the warmth was spreading cheer.
" Ouoo, Nora popsicles!", Ivy said jumping like a little child.
" I'm going to get some for us" she barely completed before skip- dancing away.
For once she felt completely jealous about her friend, she was a strong willed woman who did whatever she wanted regardless of what anyone thought,Ivy's parents were owners of a conglomerate just like her but Ivy decided she was not going to be any body's heir and that she was going to run her life exactly how she wanted to. That's how she ended up as a cloud architect, working from her comfort zone and is still an upcoming billionaire.
A voice disturbed Nora's thoughts
"And when I thought today wasn't going to get any worse".
Nora turned to stare at those blue eyes, Leo's blue eyes.

As Ivy made her way to the popsicles stand,her and Ryan coincidentally converged on the popsicle vendor at the same time. As they both reached for the last Mango popsicle, their hands touched, and they exchanged apologetic smiles.
Nora was just about to remove her hands when she looked again, " Shit!, It was the handsome tux guy from the dinner, she started doing a summersault in her heads immediately and calming down at the same time, the feeling was exhilarating.
Ryan was surprised and her showed it on his face, " Talk about pleasant suprises he said in his head" he smiled gently
The vendor, noticing the awkwardness, offered them a compromise: a joint "Popsicle Challenge"
– they'd share the last popsicle and see who could guess the most unique ingredient. Ivy and Ryan laughed,and accepted the compromise.
"The Popsicle Challenge!" The vendor, with a mischievous grin, presented Ivy and Ryan with a mysterious popsicle flavor. "Guess the secret ingredient, and the winner gets a free popsicle!" he declared. The catch? They had to share the popsicle and work together to figure it out. Ivy and Ryan eagerly accepted the challenge, their competitive spirits ignited. As they savored the popsicle, they started brainstorming
" it is actually good" Nora said
" Yeah, so what do you think?"
" It tastes like banana with a sharp edge...." Nora started.
" I'm tasting pineapples, with bananas and coconut all in one"
"Exactly, an exotic blend, but if it's an exotic blend it means the secret ingredient is something hard to find, something easy to mix with the rest ".
" Yeah, something with a sharp...."
"Ginger !" She said with the excitement of someone who just won a jackpot.
The vendor handed them each a free popsicle, and they walked away, arms brushing, feeling like they'd won something much sweeter than just a treat.
As they licked the popsicle stick, their eyes met, and the spark of connection was undeniable. The chance encounter turned into a serendipitous meeting.
" You think it's fate?" Ryan said.
"Fate?..." Ivy started but he cut in
"... I couldn't get your name at the dinner ".
Ivy screamed in her head, it was mutual after all.
" It's Ivy Blake"
" so are you here alone or....." he said.
" I'm here with my best friend, she needed air and a change of environment".
"Right a friend " Ryan remembers Leo who he just left to get them popsicles.
"You?", she says
" I also came with a friend "
"Ouoo, I should get going....." she was saying.
" Before that I should get your number, I'll love to keep in touch ".
" Sure" she said typing her number into the phone he stretched out to her.
" Bye" they said together, and continued moving in the same direction walking side by side
"You're going this way?" Ryan asked
" Yes, you too?"
"Yes".

" My day was going smoothly, why appear and turn it sour!" Nora retorts to Leo's comment
" I'm in mood for your feistiness today" he said.
"And I can't condone your egoistic personality today either" She said.
They both wait in silence.
Ryan and the Ivy walks towards them together.
" He ditches me to flirt?" Leo thought.
They both stop in front of each other.
"Your friend?" Ivy and Ryan ask each other simultaneously.
They all exchange pleasantries and Nora suggests they all take a seat at the shoot out across.
Ivy and Ryan get chatty but the mood was still dampen.
" You know we could split up if you two don't like the idea". Nora said.
" No it's not like I don't like the idea I'm sorry if I am ruining the mood".Nora said immediately.
" I'm sorry, it's just that I have so much going on right now".
Nora scoffed,"As if,"she said.
"And what do you mean by that". Leo asked.
"I mean you can't possibly be going through something, it's either just an alibi or you are doing what you do best."
"And that would be?"
" Running, you do it every time "
" You have no right to judge me"
" Ouoo and you do?"
" I don't know what your problem is or why you're acting up but deal with your insecurities yourself, don't drag me into it, I ha
ve enough shut of my own."
"enough shit, it's not like you're being forced to marry."
" And for once you can guess something right."
Nora stopped surprised
"And for once we have the same challenge." she complimented
There was silence for a while
"Marry me ". Leo said finally.
