LUNA GAME—DAY THREE
I believe Atlas had come to terms that I'd not back out of the game, no matter how he tried to talk me out of it. For that reason, he let me walk out of the building freely without any of his guards following me from behind. Or maybe he was just trying to avoid arguing with me like yesterday.
We hadn't really spoken about the argument when I returned inside, and I didn't ask him about what Elias told me. Partly because my thoughts were centred on Kaiden and on seeing Lyra. I had tossed and turned all through the night, thinking of a way out. But I came up with nothing.
I arrived at the usual meeting spot before the game started. Since an announcement would be given before we begin, hopefully, this wouldn't turn out like yesterday, where we were rushed into the game. I rubbed my palms against each other before placing them on my cheeks.
