Aria's heart skipped as her eyes collided with the person who had called her. Lyra!
What was she doing? She pondered, her heart racing wildly. She hadn't seen any Black Moon pack members and had assumed no one had come to represent them. But seeing Lyra, she believed she had missed a lot during the introduction. Lyra's face broadened into a wide smile as she closed in.
Aria's head reeled, and her gaze darted around frantically. She clutched Elias's hand.
"I…I can't have her meet me!" She blurted, going behind him to hide. It might not be the best idea, but it was worth trying.
"Please, please, hide me!" She squeaked.
