Mira's eyes locked onto the shadowy figure, her heart racing with fear. She grabbed Sophia's arm, pulling her closer. "Let's get out of here," she whispered.
Sophia nodded, and they quickly moved away from the trees. "I have to go," Sophia said, her voice trembling. "If anyone sees us together, it could be trouble."
Mira nodded, her mind racing with questions. "Be careful, Sophia. If you need help, find me."
Sophia nodded and disappeared into the darkness, leaving Mira to ponder the revelations. Alexandra's secret meetings and the shadowy figure lurking in the garden only added to Mira's suspicions.
As she made her way back to her room, Mira couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. She quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest.
Once she was safely inside her room, Mira locked the door and tried to calm her racing thoughts. She knew she had to be careful, but she couldn't help feeling drawn to the truth.
