Chapter 15 - Investigating the Anti-nflammatory Potential of Carica Papaya Leaf Ethanolic Extract: Mechanisms and Applications by: Jeddah Caliegh Cajigas

Due to Carica papaya leaves exhibiting potential anti-inflammatory properties, this research analyzed the potential of the anti-inflammatory ethanolic extract of Carica papaya leaves. This has been shown by studies that show that excng carica papaya leaves shows significant anti-inflammatory effects, making them potential therapeutic agents for managing atopic conditions (Fitzgerald, 2020). We resolved the answer by handing out 44 questionnaires to Grade 12 STEM Students of Beno "Ninoy" S. Aquino High School. These questions determined the answer of the potential of the anti-inflammatory ethanolic extract of Carica papaya leaves. The researcher gathered and collected the necessary information needed to answer this study. Once the data was retrieved, we concluded the potential of Carica papaya leaves as an ethanolic extract based on the responses of the respondents. According to Bhandari, 2023), survey questionnaires are research tools used to collect data from respondents by asking a series of questions. They are designed to gather standardized information, often structured for easy comparison and Analysis. The average mean summation determines the level of potentiality of saluyot as an herbal drink. The study is conducted in a four-month implementation period. for data collection, tool distribution, and data analysis. Through data analysis and interpretation, the study concluded that the chemical components. of saluyot, specifically the ethanol extract of saluyot leaves, which contains phythol, squalene, and vitamin E., which contributes to its medicinal properties, contains a significant amount of needed substances with anti-inflammatory properties, which also includes antioxidant and anti-cancer activities. This is a fact that saluyot with ethanol extract creates a herbal drink.k The Potentiality of the herbal drink is somewhat Pleasant for most of the respondents. The study recommends exploring more benefits of saluyot
