The head priestress was currently restrained by chains.She glared at the mercenaries surrounding her.She had been knocked out and when she woke up she was surrounded by mercenaries and in restraints.Worst of all her elementals had all been eliminated and she couldn't use her skills for some reason.
"So what should we do with this creature?You're the ones who wanted me to keep one alive for answers and information."
The larger dwarf mercenary who broke the head priestress's knee caps and knocked her out with his mace addressed the lizardmen of the slithering knights mercenary group and the moon elves of the crescent moon mercenary group.
"She is known as a human.That is the race of beings who attacked this mining settlement."
Alcazar a towering lizardman confirmed the race that the head priestress and the other attackers belonged to.
"We've confirmed that they are dungeon creatures.It doesn't take much brainpower to deduce that they are likely from that new Gaia dungeon.The one that currently belongs to the blood world academy."
The three mercenaries turned towards the bound head priestress.She simply spat on the ground between them.
Kaolin a male moon elf picked up the scepter on the ground that belonged to the head priestress.He inserted his magic to activate it.This failed so he attempted to activate the magic already in the scepter but it rejected him.
"The magic in this scepter is rejecting me.Why is their magic so..."
Kaolin sensed a magical disturbance of the spatial kind.The mercenaries all observed the appearance of multiple portals open up as more humans appeared.An entire large crowd of humans appeared.They were of all types of builds,sizes and outfits.
"What in Gaia's name was Katarina doing?Couldn't she have sent you lot sooner?"
The headpriestress was angry.She had been wondering if reinforcements would ever arrive.She would have to let that elite human Katarina know of her displeasure in the future.
The crowd of mercenaries tensed in position and all entered battle stances which some of the humans mirrored.No one made a move as the head priestress talked to her kind.
"Oh don't be like that.Katarina needed to gather the lot of us together.Since we're finding fault in others how about I ask this.Why is a boss human in such a pathetic state?"
The one who spoke was a boss human man about six foot six and had a muscular build.His eyes were a metallic grey and he possessed brown hair.He had an outfit of grey silk and didn't appear to wield a weapon.The head priestress cringed at his words.
"You ought to show more respect to your seniors.I've never even met you so you must be very new."
"Ah but of course where were my manners my name is Martin one of the newer boss humans that lady Gaia has created."
A spear was thrown with great force towards Martin by one of the mercenaries.Martin made no attempt to dodge as the spear collided with his body.Contrary to expectations however Martin's body didn't get impaled by the spear.
The spear simply stopped in position when it touched Martin's chest and proceeded to fall harmlessly to the floor.The mercenary who threw the spear was left stunned at the sight.
"Hmph"
Martin's eyes turned towards the mercenary the spear belonged to.His eyes became filled with disgust and disdain.He clenched a fist and then punched the air toward the mercenary.A high amount of penetrative force exited Martin's body that reverberated through the air and collided with the mercenary.
The mercenary felt a sudden pain and looked down to see a hole in his chest that had pentrated right through.He wanted to say something but couldn't as blood gushed from the wound and his eyes rolled back.The mercenary fell to the floor dead.
"Huh how weak"
