[Hell's Kitchen Safehouse, Morning – 2014]
Adam's eyes snapped open. He was back on the dusty mattress, the taste of stale air in his mouth. He felt it instantly—a low hum, a latent energy within his veins, a phantom power he had only just learned to control. He looked down at his hands, and a small, controllable blue spark flew from his fingertips.
[PLASMA COMBAT TRAINING: 10% MASTERY. OBJECTIVE: USE REWARD TO FIGHT CRIME.]
"10%? I'm already glowing!" he whispered, a grin spreading across his face. He felt like a walking fireworks display. He scrambled to his feet, a renewed sense of purpose fueling him. He was a hero, now. A hero with plasma powers.
He found a few thugs harassing a food stand vendor in a back alley. They were low-level grunts, easy targets. Adam ran forward, his new training kicking in. He dodged a punch and threw a quick jab at a thug's jaw. He focused his power, and a tiny spark flew from his finger, hitting a thug's jacket. The jacket sizzled and smoked, but didn't catch fire. The thug screamed.
"What's that light?! I'm burning!" the thug shrieked.
Adam laughed. "I'm not on fire. You're just getting a glow-up!" He sent another spark at a thug's phone, which then buzzed wildly. The thug dropped it, panicking.
A familiar voice cut through the chaos. "Nice sparks, rooftop guy."
Adam looked up to see Anya Corazon, Spider-Girl, perched on a fire escape. "Sparks? Call it a glow-up, Web-Girl."
"Plasma's awesome. Anya's watching."
[Abandoned Warehouse, Afternoon – 2014]
Adam and Anya teamed up, tracking the thugs to a warehouse. The thugs were not just random goons; they were part of a larger, more organized group. The system's prompt confirmed his suspicions.

"HYDRA? I'll spark 'em out!" Adam said, a serious tone in his voice.
"You're not bad, Stiels," Anya said, her voice low.
"I have my moments," he replied. They found a HYDRA agent discussing plans.
"The device is ready," the agent said.
"Device? Bad news," Adam muttered.
"Let's stop it," Anya said, her voice firm.
"HYDRA's here. Time to shine."
[Warehouse Skirmish, Evening – 2014]
Adam and Anya engaged the agent and his men. Adam's plasma-infused punches hit with a kinetic force he'd never felt before, and his dodges were seamless. He fought with a reckless style that was all his own.
"You can't stop HYDRA!" the agent screamed.
"HYDRA? I'm glowing through!" Adam retorted, sending a bolt of plasma at a thug's phone, which began to buzz like a trapped insect.
A new voice, deep and gravelly, cut through the noise. "HYDRA's deep, kid."
Matt Murdock, the Daredevil, was here.
"Deep? I'm deeper!" Adam shot back.
"He's hopeless," Anya muttered.
"HYDRA's big. I'm bigger."
[Hell's Kitchen Rooftop, Night – 2014]
The trio had captured the agent and were now interrogating him on a rooftop. The information they got was crucial. The agent spilled everything about a HYDRA tech stash in the outskirts of the city.
[OBJECTIVE: SECURE HYDRA TECH.]
"Tech? I'll glow it up!" Adam said.
"Reckless, but cute," Anya said, and Adam felt a jolt of pleasure.
"Plan smart, Stiels," Matt's voice was a stern warning.
"Smart's boring, Daredevil," Adam shot back.
"You're too late," the agent laughed.
"Nah, we're right on time," Adam replied, sending a plasma spark at the agent's watch, making it beep chaotically.
"HYDRA's moving. Let's move faster." Adam looked at the city below, a wide, confident grin on his face. The game had just begun.
