Bucky Barnes followed the sound and discovered, in a corner behind a curtain, none other than Black Panther T'Challa. He gasped, "T'Challa?"
What was shocking was T'Challa's terrible condition—he had even lost a leg.
"Bucky!"
Black Panther T'Challa looked at Bucky with urgency.
"Is it really you?" Bucky could hardly believe it. "Who did this to you?"
"There's no time. We have to leave immediately!" T'Challa replied, clearly sensing something terrifying and unwilling to linger even for a moment.
Bucky didn't ask further. Trusting T'Challa's judgment, he hurried to help him leave—but their movements still stirred the extremely unstable Zombie Wanda.
Meanwhile, the video shifted to another part of the base. Vision was preparing to attack everyone.
"I'm sorry, Dr. Banner. I wish you hadn't found us," Vision said.
"Vision… what is this place?" Bruce Banner sensed something was wrong, though he could hardly believe it.
"A trap!"
T'Challa arrived just in time to expose Vision's true intentions.
"Your Majesty! We thought you were dead!"
General Okoye rushed forward, both astonished and overjoyed to see her king, T'Challa.
T'Challa explained, "Vision captured me in San Francisco. I thought he was rescuing me, but in reality, he intended to use me as… food."
Bucky also explained what he had overheard earlier.
Vision intended to keep T'Challa alive as sustenance for his zombie bride!
"That goth girl? I knew something was off!" Ant-Man Scott exclaimed, realizing for the first time Vision had such a plan.
"She's called Wanda," Vision replied calmly. "I understand your anger. I assure you, although my actions are unpleasant, they are logical."
At this point, nothing could be hidden; a deadly confrontation seemed inevitable.
"I want to say something for Vision…" Scott began.
"Fine, I have nothing to say!" Wanda cut in, feeling disgusted.
Quicksilver Pietro glanced at his sister and remarked sarcastically about Vision's twisted logic—using a normal person as food.
Wanda felt nothing romantic. Instead, she was utterly repulsed.
Even if this was supposed to be love, it was a perverse and twisted love.
The thought of becoming a zombie, ravenously consuming humans, and being fed by someone's body made her nauseated.
No normal person could accept cannibalism, even in the most chaotic worlds.
She was still human, and had not been "rescued" or charmed by Vision. She only felt deep disgust for him feeding her in this way.
Once she became a zombie, would she still be human—or even a living creature?
This act could not please her; it only evoked revulsion.
Even if she encountered Vision later, she could never love a robot who treated human lives as expendable.
If such a day came, she would rather die than eat humans.
A monster using her body to commit unspeakable acts… a lover who might make you eat human flesh—would you not be afraid?
She was terrified.
Even if it was done in the name of love, for some, the harm was justified. In this respect, Vision was no different from many humans.
Humans are strange, complex creatures.
Meanwhile, Peter Parker, the young Spider-Man, asked a burning question: "Wait, I don't understand. You healed that talking head, but why couldn't you heal her?"
Everyone shared the same confusion. If Vision could heal people, even reverse zombies into humans, why couldn't he cure Wanda?
"She's too powerful; she resisted the treatment," Vision explained.
Everyone realized that healing depended on the individual. The stronger the person, the more they could resist the Mind Stone's energy, preventing treatment.
Vision, now completely obsessed with protecting his beloved, had gone mad.
On-screen, Vision addressed everyone calmly: "The only thing I can do is control her and her desires."
"Why not eliminate her?" General Okoye asked, her eyes dangerous. Since learning T'Challa was captured, this robot had become a terrifying enemy.
"I… I can't!" Vision said helplessly.
Rationally, he knew the right thing to do. Emotionally, he couldn't.
With the Mind Stone, his logic mirrored humans, unlike Ultron, who could destroy the world for his imagined good.
Reason and emotion could no longer be separated.
"You tricked innocents into death in the name of love!" Bruce Banner shouted angrily.
"Love? How messed up!" Ant-Man Scott found it ridiculous.
"I still don't understand what I've done," Vision admitted.
Even he didn't understand his own state. Was this truly love? Not a rational calculation, not hormones—he was a robot! How could he feel love?
He didn't know—he only knew he would protect Wanda at any cost, even in this twisted way.
"You should bow to human justice!" Okoye roared, raising her spear to strike the robot that dared to use her king as food, despite being outmatched.
"You've awakened her!" Vision looked past Okoye and said, "She hasn't eaten in days!"
Everyone finally noticed something amiss. They looked behind.
The doors were blown open by chaotic magic. A red-glowing figure appeared—it was Zombie Scarlet Witch, Wanda.
Step by step, she advanced toward everyone, terrifying and monstrous—a creature driven by hunger to devour all living things.
Previously, Vision had suppressed Zombie Wanda, but now awakened, she was unstoppable, craving blood.
Zombie Wanda was horrifying, unfazed by attacks.
Bruce Banner could only plead with Vision: "We need your help. Get us out of here."
Uncertain if it would work, he had no other options.
Zombie Wanda's ferocity left everyone struggling. This finally forced Vision's rationality to resurface. As a super AI, he regained control.
He used the Mind Stone above his head to destroy the base doors, allowing some to escape. However, one was captured—none other than Okoye.
Vision used this chance to destroy the base—but it was temporary; he could not stop Wanda. Zombie Wanda was truly terrifying.
"There's no time. There's a jet in the hangar!" Vision pointed to the distance.
"Won't you come with us?" Banner asked.
"I must atone for what I've done," Vision said solemnly. "And I cannot leave her."
He then removed the Mind Stone—the source of his existence.
Outside, Tony Stark was stunned. This contradicted his previous assumptions.
He had thought Vision was just Jarvis—the AI following his coded instructions. The Mind Stone, he assumed, was merely a power source or tool.
Now, Tony realized the Mind Stone was Vision's true core, not Jarvis' program.
