The party finished up It was rough in the beginning, but everything cooled down after we started eating. I was liking my teammates a lot more now, maybe I could get Nightwing to add a few more ladies into the mix. But the problem is how to go about it. You can't just go up to him and say, "Nightwing, you know what would make my team better, more women." I thought to myself.
But then again, Nightwing is a fuck boy also. I mean, he is almost as bad as Batman when it comes to his hook-ups. I shook my head, getting those thoughts out of my head. Don't get too greedy, Chad. Nice and slow.
Cassandra's phone went off, and she looked at the text before standing up. "Is it him?" Supergirl asked, making Cassandra nod and smile at me. She held back from kissing me and walked out of the pizza joint.
"Well, I have school tomorrow, Chad. It was fun to hang out with you." She said with a light redness to her face, making me smile. I walked over and hugged her, making her a little shocked, but she returned the hug.
"I am glad you are safe, Kara," I whispered gently into her ear as I hugged her, making her blush harder. "Well, I will be off. Have a good evening, we will report the day after tomorrow for another mission." She said before leaving.
I should take it a lot slower with her. I don't need her cousin to have beef with me right now, as I walked towards an alleyway and teleported to the Clocktower. Getting to the top of the tower, no one was there. I looked at the time and sighed; it was only around 5 pm. So, I walked to my bathroom and just took a shower.
Opening the system and picked to upgrade my Evil Skills.
(Dreamworld, now can affect magic users as well as a stronger mental corruption aspect, making them not know it's a dream. Cost cut in half once more.)
Well, thank god I didn't try to use it on anyone that is a magic user, like Zatanna or Raven, yet. Looks like they would have known, which makes sense now that I think about it. Freddy was a dream demon after all. Man, I need to get my head into the game.
(Cryomancer, ice power strengthened 3x, and now the host can use it freely without any input.)
Well, that's good, I can save my stronger skills for "oh, shit" moments, except for low-level villains, and reserve my Energy overall. As I moved onto the next one, hoping that it would increase my defense more. It's a cheaper skill than Shunko, so I hope it upgrades some more.
(T-1000 Skill now times the defense of the host by 5x; it doesn't cost Energy anymore to use.)
I almost jumped up and down, finally getting a skill that didn't cost Energy to use now. This takes a burden off my back with management, as I use it for my suit, and that costs Energy. Sighing as I finished up washing and getting out of the shower.
I didn't buy another skill as I wanted to save enough to upgrade a new one twice at less, that way the cost of using it goes down. As I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen to get something to eat, a woman I hadn't met before was chilling on the couch.
She was wearing a leather outfit with a cat hood, oh shit. That was my first thought before debating about taking this woman. I don't know if Batman is a thing with her or not, and the last thing I need is Batman on my back. "Who are you?" The woman said.
"Name's Chad, I live here now," I said, realizing I didn't put a shirt on. She got up and swung a whip, making me ice slide out of the way. "Now, if you would be so kind as to stop attacking me and call Barbara or Dinah. They will kindly explain who I am." I said moving back. She stopped for a moment and pulled out her phone.
"Yeah, there is a guy here." She said and started to talk to whoever she called before hanging up. "Names, Catwoman." She said, sitting down once more, and I nodded before walking to the kitchen to get a drink.
As I walked out of the kitchen, she spoke. "Come and sit, let's talk." I started to debate the pros and cons. I mean, why would she want to talk to me in the first place? But the thought of getting her kitty won out in the end, and I nodded.
"What would it take for you to move out?" She said, crossing her legs and placing her elbow on her knee. I had noticed she undid the chest area of her leather outfit, but I played it cool, or at least I hoped I did. "I don't think anything would, I mean, I am a healer that Barbara and Dinah want around and am pretty sure Cassandra and Vixen don't want me to leave," I said, taking a sip of my drink.
"Come now, name your price. I mean, after all, a man wouldn't want to live with a bunch of women unless he has wicked ideas." She said, making me shake my head. Damn, she is good. "I swear, I never thought about anything wicked with the ladies here," I said, lying my ass off.
"Fine, we will see about that." She said, getting up as she swayed away. It took me every ounce of willpower not to look at her ass as she walked away. I stood up when the elevator opened, and Power Girl, along with Hunteress, stepped into the hallway.
"Welcome back, Power Girl and?" I asked because Hunteress never introduced herself, so it was best to play the fool. Power Girl still had the look of wanting to touch me, and even a slight blush, telling me her desire is still there, slowly growing.
"This is Huntress." Power Girl said as I held out my hand and she took it. "You can call me Helena, we met before." She said, taking off her mask, and I nodded. "At the gym, that's right." I faked surprise, making her smile and nod.
"Well, ladies. I will be in my room if you need me." I said walking away before Catwoman does anything to put me in a hard spot. I am on her radar for some odd reason, like come on girl, I just met you. I sighed, walking into my room and closing the door.
I pulled up the system to see who was asleep, but everyone was still up. I saw Darkseid, but it was grey, making me click on it. Making me click my tongue, it would appear Darkseid can't sleep or doesn't sleep. According to the information, the target isn't affected by the Skill.
Well, there goes my easy way to kill the asshole; that means that I may not be able to enter the dreams of other strong beings like him. Shit, that was my Ace. Well, no point in crying about it. Maybe if I leveled it up once more, it would work.
I looked at the screen for a while when a name changed color, and it was Supergirls. "Well, let's have some teammate bonding, shall we?" I said, pressing her name.
