Walking into the bathroom, stripping my clothes off, and turning on the shower as I pulled up the system. It looks like I need to do dreams like that more often, I thought to myself as I read the spoils.
(Host drugged and mentally tortured someone for a lifetime, earning him 125 Evil skill points and Stat points.)
Washing my body as I closed the system, so torture pays more. Mental mind fucking can pay, I guess, but that will have to be used on the stronger ones. I don't want to break the weaker-willed ones, as I thought to myself before finishing my shower and stepping out freezing when I see Catwoman.
"What are you doing here?" I said, covering myself as she chuckled. "Making sure you aren't doing anything wrong." She said, walking out of the bathroom, leaving me shocked and muttering to myself. "What is her deal? It's not like I did anything." Shit, this is going to be a problem.
Sorry, Batman, but it looks like I will have to break this kitty. I thought to myself as I got dressed and walked out of my room. No one was up but Catwoman as I quickly grabbed some eggs and made breakfast, trying to leave. "Where are you going?" She asked with a smug face as I rolled my eyes.
"I am going to the Justice League training hall so I can visit its hospital ward and heal the people there. Is that a problem, your royal highness?" I said sarcastically. "Oh, you have snark. I think I will join you." She said, making me roll my eyes.
"Fine, whatever floats your boat," I said, walking towards the elevator and opening it as she followed behind. She was having fun making my life hell, making me finally make up my mind that I will be visiting her dreamworld tonight. I need to get her off my back or bring her to my side. Those are the only two options I have.
"You're driving then, Miss Catwoman," I said with a smirk as she rolled her eyes and we got into her car. "If you want me to leave you alone, just move out." She said while driving, making me chuckle. "If I did that, you would win, and we can't have that," I said, making her laugh.
"Very well, we will see who gives way first." She said as we pulled up to the hospital ward and got out. Walking into the hospital, talking to the front desk. "I would like to heal people. My name is Sub-Zero. If you pull up my Hero info, you can find that I am a healer, and I want to spend my days off healing people." I said, making the woman type in my info before standing up.
"Wait one moment, I will ask the head doctor." She said while walking away, as I waited. After a few minutes, the woman came back with a woman in her early thirties with red hair. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a moment as she smiled and held her hand out. "I am Dr. Samantha Williams. It's a pleasure to meet you. I heard about your healing abilities from one of my patients. Zoey was happy to have been healed by you." She said with a seductive smile.
"I was only doing what I could to help with her suffering; it's not a big deal," I said, smiling as we shook hands. "I don't have a problem with you healing people here, but I would like to make a list of the ones I want you to heal first, or at least see if you can." She said.
"I have no problem doing that. Please lead the way." I followed behind her as she walked in front of us. I kept my eyes up because Catwoman was glaring at me, waiting to find something.
After a few minutes, she made it to her office and sat at her desk, starting to work on her computer until it printed out a list. "There are about a hundred people on here. Please see if you can heal them. Their room numbers are next to their names. I will get a nurse to guide you around." She said before picking up a phone and calling the nursing station.
I noticed a ring on her hand and a photo of her and her family as I was walking out of the office. Sorry, Mr. Williams. But since I will be working here from now on, I need your wife to become mine. I thought to myself as a nurse started leading me towards the first person on the list.
We walked into a room where the person was missing both their legs and an arm. She had just come out of surgery a couple of days ago, which made me think they wanted to see if I could regrow limbs. Granted, the game never said it could or couldn't, so I was about to find out.
"Hello, I am here to see if I can heal you," I said, making the woman look up at me with dead eyes. The same ones the girl had, as I quietly smiled and placed my hand on her head, as the room filled with a bright light and died down after ten seconds, as Catwoman and the nurse opened their eyes to the sound of crying.
The woman was looking at her feet, and her arm was behind her back. She quickly stood up and hugged me, as I hugged her back, patting her back as she let go of me and kissed my cheek. I chuckled before speaking. "You get some rest and have someone check you out, to make sure nothing is wrong," I said, while bringing her back to the bed.
"Can you get a doctor to check her out before we move on to the next one?" I said to the nurse, who nodded and ran out to find a doctor, returning after a minute as he checked the woman out. Giving a head nod, saying she was perfectly fine from what he could see and would do X-rays.
We moved on to the next one, who had about half the body in burns as I healed them—seeing the joy and happiness that they got from being healed made doing Good Acts worth it, as it's not so bad helping people. We had gotten here at seven in the morning, and it was already ten, as I needed to take a break, when Catwoman brought me a drink.
"Good job." She said, making me smirk. "What, no accusations of wicked thoughts?" I joked, making her chuckle. "I have a thing against most men, so far, it looks like my thoughts about you have been wrong. I need to get going, I don't see a problem with you being our healer after seeing it first hand." She said, swaying away before stopping.
"I will still be watching you, but I won't ask you to move out for now." She said before walking once more. I had healed the first fifty on the list so far as I rested, pulling up the system, making me smile.
(Host has healed 50 severely wounded people, earning himself 2,500 Good Act Skill points and $25,000.)
This looks like a good start to the day as I finished my drink and stood up, stretching my back and smiling at the nurse. "Shall we take care of the others?" I said, making her blush as she smiled and nodded.
