Chapter 27 - 27

The modification speed was slower than Donny had imagined. The old bartender, holding a bottle of wine, asked Donny for tens of thousands of dollars in one breath. He wanted to buy the best parts, the best alloys, and the best converters. He wanted to modify it into a war motorcycle.

The two men were generous and spent money without blinking an eye. Seeing that there was a profit to be made, someone came over and tried to cheat them out of some money, but was quickly seen through by the old bartender, who then beat the man half to death.

The screams attracted the attention of many people. Some people with black backgrounds looked indifferent and impatient.

"This is the territory of the Irish gang. Who dares to cause trouble here?" A sturdy man with a ferocious face started to pull out his gun. According to the rules, he could kill these ignorant rookies.

Soon another person stopped him and quietly told him that the young man who beat him was the mechanic who was in the limelight recently.

"Don't underestimate that guy because he's young and naive. But if he gets the chance, he'll kill. He's killed quite a few people recently."

People whispered among themselves, many casting concerned and fearful glances at Donny. Those who had been tempted to attack quietly hid their guns, not daring to show any sign of attacking him. Who would dare to take on this mutant without some skill? Rumor had it that unless this mutant was lured into the wilderness, he would likely be his turf wherever he went.

This mutant seems to have the ability to continuously produce mechanical soldiers, but no one knows what the specific limit is.

Many people retreated and stopped, but there were also some fearless guys who came forward and seemed to want to communicate with Tony, attracting many onlookers' gazes.

A very strange man came in front of Tony. He was covered in a thick black special uniform and had a hood on his head, which made it impossible for light to see through.

"Does this guy want to provoke him? Or make friends with him?"

"I bet he'll be defeated in three sentences at most. Who else but a large organization can win over that mutant?"

People were talking about it, waiting to see the guy's disgraceful end.

The weirdo stood directly in front of Donnie, looking into his eyes without any fear.

"Mr. Donnie." The weirdo smiled, showing his fangs, as if intending for Donnie to see. "I say hello to you on behalf of the Thompson family."

The old bartender's squatting body trembled suddenly, and then he continued to install as if nothing had happened, but his legs were shaking a little, and he couldn't fasten a ring after a long time.

Donnie deadpanned, "I don't think I have anything to ask of you guys."

"Don't say that," the strange man said politely. "You cleaned out our Thompson family's stronghold last night, but you were so powerful. Your name has now spread throughout the entire underground world, and our family's prestige has been completely destroyed. Besides, my name is John Thompson."

"So you said you came here to start a war? You want to start a war with me in broad daylight?" Donnie smiled.

Vampires cannot see sunlight, they will die if they see it.

John did not comment. He proposed to take the old bartender back, to wipe out their grudges and to ensure that no one would cause trouble for Donnie.

"This guy was originally a follower of the Hagui tribe in our family. We searched for him for many years before we found him," John explained.

"He is from the Hagui tribe? This is the first time I've heard of this. But this person is useful to me, I can't hand him over." Donny refused. He lied with his eyes open, pretending to know nothing, and said that it was impossible to hand over the old bartender.

John Thompson's smile was a little stiff. He didn't believe that Downey would be so "gentlemanly" to arrest people for no reason and not even torture them?

Look at the old man next to him, nodding and fawning, as if he wants to pour out his heart. It would be a miracle if this mutant doesn't know anything about it.

The old bartender's acting skills are very good. His loyal expression can deceive anyone. Even the best actor has to admit defeat. The old bartender has honed his acting skills over the years. He can say different things to different people.

Donnie glanced at the old bartender, resisting the urge to kick him. He took a step forward and looked down at the vampire condescendingly: "He can be of great use to me. I won't hand him over to you."

This made Donnie so disgusted that he wanted to kick the old bartender to death. He suddenly thought, why not just hand the old bartender over and then fight the vampires with real weapons.

John Thompson smiled again, his back straight and polite. Despite his ugly attire, he still exuded the noble aura of a pureblood. He told Donnie that the Thompson family didn't want to damage relations with Donnie over a Hargui. If Donnie insisted on not making peace, he would likely become enemies with the Thompson family and its affiliated families.

Several strange-looking people in similar clothing appeared and surrounded Donnie. Nearby staff members tried to intervene, but were frightened away by the red glares of these strange people, not daring to come again and seek death.

"Mr. Downey, please think about it one last time and don't make the mistake." John Thompson persuaded Downey one last time. His tone was threatening, but he secretly estimated in his heart that the time was almost right. The task assigned by that man had been completed and it was time for him to withdraw.

Donnie didn't speak for a long time. Seeing John was about to leave, he squinted his eyes and suddenly said, "Okay, I give in. I'll listen to you."

"What?!" John was stunned and froze there for a moment, looking at Donny in disbelief. This scene was not in his script at all. It was completely different from what that person had told him.

"Mr. Downey, what did you say... Are you willing to hand this old guy over to me?" John was very nervous. With his pure-blood physique, sweat broke out on his forehead. He was tongue-tied and suddenly didn't know what to say next.

"Yes, I give it to you." Donny sighed, pulled the old bartender over with a look of disgust, and told John that he could take him away.

John was stunned, and the old bartender was also stunned. What was going on in this young man's mind? How could he sell out the old bartender so easily?

Donny spread his hands to show his innocence, saying that he completely hated this old fox and was even more afraid of the power of the Thompson family. If the noble really wanted someone, he decided to cooperate fully.

"The Thompson family? That was a misunderstanding before, all a misunderstanding. Our grudges are written off from now on. That's what you said." Donny looked like he had forgotten his grudges and was very close to the other party.

John was sweating profusely and said with a stiff upper lip, "Have you really thought it through? Don't you want to think about it anymore?" He still wanted to struggle one last time, maybe there was still hope.

Donnie nodded firmly, hoping to reconcile with the Thompson family.

The onlookers were being chased away by this group of weirdos and were in a very embarrassing situation. They all advised John to get the people out as soon as possible and not to make trouble here and take away their share.

"This is the property of the Irish gang. If you don't want to cause trouble, leave now."

"That's right, haven't they already compromised? What are you doing? Take everyone away quickly."

People tried to persuade John not to be so pessimistic.

Even the old bartender rolled his eyes, looking very sly. He saw the clue and lay down on the ground, asking the vampires to carry him away quickly: "I can't eat or sleep well with this guy. Please rescue me quickly. Life was better in the old days."

John was so angry that he was shaking. He felt very embarrassed and awkward. He had an urge to kill this old fox and the bunch of onlookers with one blow.
