Chapter 30 - 30

Downey led his motorcade straight to a school in Westchester, New York.

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters has developed rapidly in recent decades, but it almost lives an isolated life. Many people don't even know that there is such a peculiar school in bustling New York City. Only the top leaders of certain organizations know about it.

This school specifically recruits and only recruits mutants, ranging in age from a few years old to teenagers.

The principal is Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X, a recognized mutant bipolar and a great mutant leader. He has dedicated his life to the peaceful coexistence of mutants and ordinary people and is a respected elder.

But Donny is always worried about meeting Professor X. Professor X's psychic ability is hard to guard against, and he can read his memory in an instant without him even noticing.

Donny has too many secrets, and he is indeed worried that Professor X will check his memory, although the possibility is very small.

In addition to Professor X's strength being feared by the world, what makes people praise and respect him even more is his noble character. This old man has spent his entire life proving himself and will continue to prove himself. He is an old man who can make people feel at ease and a truly kind elder.

Donny takes the risk to meet Professor X. He needs help and reliable backup.

He will not choose Magneto, at least not before he has the strength to fight against Magneto. Magneto is tough and uncompromising. He is determined to exterminate mankind and turn the earth into a world of mutants, and his actions are extreme.

Donnie knew that time was really running out.

In the near future, a world of great conflict will officially begin, leaving Earth with little energy for internal strife. Mythical figures will sweep across the starry skies, leaving corpses strewn across the landscape. Countless ancient races will once again set sail to conquer the universe. Civilization after civilization will wail under their iron hooves, and ancient stars will crumble in the midst of war.

The future holds countless bloody battles and endless wars.

There was no light or hope, no flowers or distant horizons, only countless corpses and despair. Even Donny himself didn't know how much longer he could hold out, and he himself didn't know how many battles he could endure.

After making up his mind, Donnie drove his Optimus Prime all the way, with a brand new motorcycle on the bed and two old cars following behind, forming a small convoy. Donnie took them to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

He wants to find Professor X, he is betting on Professor X's character, he wants to become stronger, even if it is just a little bit.

There really isn't much time left.

Xavier School is basically isolated from the world, with beautiful scenery. It is a paradise away from the smoke and hustle and bustle of the city.

As we approached the gate, the sound of the vehicle attracted the attention of many people. On weekdays, few outsiders would come here, and they were very curious about the new visitor.

There was a group of children of different ages. They gathered in groups, pointing at Donnie who got off the bus and whispering to each other, discussing who this person was.

Donnie looked at those children. Their faces were filled with innocence and purity, like angels who knew nothing about the world. Donnie's heart suddenly calmed down. He looked at these children and relaxed completely.

This change surprised him. He was always on edge, but in front of this group of children, he relaxed quietly, feeling comfortable and at ease.

"Welcome, Donnie." A woman had already known that Donnie was coming. She stood there waiting, smiling. She didn't even use the word "sir" when addressing him, not treating him as an outsider at all.

"Dr. Jean, I've seen you speak in Congress and read some of your papers. Thank you for everything you've done." Donnie looked at this graceful and mature woman. Although it was their first meeting, he recognized her at a glance. The person in front of him was Jean Grey, a terrifying and uncontrollable level 5 mutant.

Facing the piano,

Don't know if it was an illusion, but Donny always felt like he was suffocating, and the source of fire in his mind flickered wildly.

Jean Grey is one of the hosts of the Cosmic Phoenix. Her body is imbued with terrifying energy, capable of annihilating souls and matter at the atomic level. The most terrifying thing is that this power is uncontrollable, making it easy for Jean to be controlled by it, and this has given rise to a negative personality.

Professor X used the power of his mind to seal Jean's source of power, but as time went on, the seal became weaker and weaker, and was increasingly unable to withstand the increasingly violent power of the Phoenix.

It only takes one opportunity and the power of the Phoenix will erupt with irreversible force, and there will be no possibility of recovery. The negative personality will wipe out the first personality and take over everything.

But at least now, it is still the kind and friendly Dr. Qin who is in charge. She herself doesn't even know that she has a negative personality.

"Oh?" Qin smiled sweetly. She looked at Tang Ni playfully. "Then I wonder which of my papers have you read? We can discuss that. I heard you went to college, too."

"Only half of it." Donnie said cheekily, "I'm interested in some of Dr. Jean's papers analyzing mutant abilities."

Downey talked nonsense and praised Dr. Jean for his research, which opened a new veil in the field of mutant abilities and played a huge role in better grasping the direction of mutants. He was very grateful for Dr. Jean's efforts for mutants.

A paper? How could he possibly read that? It didn't exist.

Qin looked at Donny meaningfully. She was also a teacher, so how could she not see that Donny was talking nonsense? But she didn't point it out and motioned Donny to follow her.

"Professor X sensed you when you were about to get here, and he asked me to pick you up." Jean said to Donny as they walked. Professor X had been paying attention to Donny for a long time, and he had been looking forward to Donny coming to him, hoping to have a good chat.

Many mutant students stared at Donny curiously. Some of them who liked to watch TV had already recognized him and quickly told the others that this young man was the mechanic who was very popular recently.

"Is he the newly emerged advanced mutant?" a teenager exclaimed, his eyes sparkling. The relevant authorities had blocked detailed information about Donny, leading many to only know that he had awakened during a crisis and reached a high level, but there was much debate as to exactly what level he was.

A more reliable statement is that they are third-level mutants, and they are more combat-capable and have great lethality.

Following the cobblestone path, Donnie came to a quaint little building in the deepest part of the school. The building was quite old and looked very elegant. What was even more surprising was that a layer of oriental glazed bricks was laid in an orderly manner on the outside, forming a beautiful picture.

Pushing open the door, a bald old man sitting in a wheelchair slowly turned around. He exuded a peaceful aura, and his eyes were calm but full of wisdom.

"Welcome, my people."
