Chapter 1 - the beginning

In the vastness of the abyss, there existed an incomprehensible expanse of nothingness—utterly devoid of light, time, space, or any semblance of tangible entity. It was a profound emptiness, stripped of all essence, a void where even concepts like dreams or thoughts could not take root. Yet, within this quintessential nullity, paradoxically stood a diminutive house, a curious anomaly in its very existence. It was inconceivable—preferring the natural order of things—that anything could reside in such a bleak arena, yet there it was, defying all logic: that small, quaint abode, with walls that seemed to shimmer with anticipation amidst the backdrop of absolute darkness.

Inside this unassuming dwelling lingered a being whose physique bore an uncanny resemblance to that of a man, sculpted to an extraordinary degree of perfection—his features illuminated by an unearthly beauty, with a celestial visage, broad shoulders, and lengthy, raven-black hair that flowed like shadows. In this timeless realm, he lay reclined upon a bed, one hand draped casually across his shoulder while the other dangled lightly over the side, as if in a world that demanded no action at all.

Slowly, deliberately, he stirred awake, the tranquil silence of the abyss punctuated by the rustle of his movement. He propped himself up in bed, rubbing his eyes lazily as if shedding remnants of a dream that lingered just out of grasp. "Curse you, I am not lethargic," he muttered with a mix of irritation and bemusement. "And bear in mind that I fashioned you to amuse me, not to vex me."

"Yet I was indeed entertaining you," I chimed in, morphing seamlessly into a humanoid form, tilting my head slightly in acknowledgment of his discomfort.

"Well, it certainly did not seem like entertainment to me," he retorted, his tone languorous as he rose from the bed, stretching as if absorbing the very essence of the void. With graceful steps, he ambled toward the kitchen, a small, modest space filled with the aroma of brewed coffee, unconcerned about the absurdity of his existence in this desolate realm.

"And must you incessantly narrate and describe every action I undertake?" he asked, feigning annoyance as he rummaged through the cabinets for a cup.

"Why not? I wish to document and preserve every moment, for there is art even in the mundane," I proclaimed with a joyous grin, perching myself on the edge of the kitchen counter, eager to capture the details of each unfolding scene.

"Fine, indulge yourself," he said, now sounding exasperated, as he prepared himself a steaming cup of coffee. He exited his house and wandered into the garden—a surreal collection of ephemeral flowers blooming defiantly against the void. There, amidst the ethereal beauty, he settled onto a weathered bench, surveying the nothingness that surrounded him, yet seemed so familiar.

"Master, wouldn't it be more exhilarating if we had others to engage with as well?" I ventured, positioning myself beside him, eager for companionship amidst the lingering solitude.

"No, I have already expressed my preference for tranquility," he replied, lifting the cup to his lips, savoring the warmth.

"However, Master, it would provide us both with amusement and entertainment, would it not?" I insisted, placing my hand on his shoulder in a gesture of camaraderie.

"Very well, but I will not assist you," he declared firmly, shaking his head, resolute in his desire for solitude.

"Okay, but might you at least lend your aid in this space where I am unable to create due to the overwhelming void?" I implored, gazing at him with pleading eyes, my enthusiasm undeterred.

"Alright, but I shall only intervene once," he acquiesced, his voice a mix of resignation and curiosity. With a fluid motion, he swept his hand before him, and in an instant, a vast aperture ripped through the void, unraveling the seams of nothingness to open a realm where creation could flourish.

"Thank you, Master! I assure you, this will be delightful for you," I exclaimed, my beaming excitement spilling over as I approached this nascent expanse, stepping purposefully into the unfamiliar fabric of reality. I vanished from his side, only to reappear at the very center of this new creation, ready to sculpt wonders that would defy the void itself.

"Let us see how far she ventures in her creative endeavors," he remarked, a subtle smile gracing his lips as he took another sip of his coffee, watching the unfolding spectacle with a growing sense of intrigue.

"Master, do you genuinely believe it prudent to permit her unrestricted freedom?" a strange voice queried, breaking the stillness. With a dramatic flourish, the massive head of a dragon materialized beside the house, her immense form casting a shadow over the ground, her keen eyes gazing at the distant space being born from the void.

"It will be acceptable, provided it doesn't become too cacophonous," he replied, taking yet another sip, seemingly unperturbed by this vibrant intrusion.

"Then, Master, may I join her, please?" the dragon implored, her eyes alight with fervor as they remained fixated on the other figure exploring the expanse of creation.

"Fine, you may proceed, but do not disturb me," he answered methodically, sipping his coffee as he remained fixed on the spectacle unfolding before him. The dragon's massive wings unfurled in a graceful arc, and with a thrust of her powerful limbs, she vanished from sight, reappearing in the blossoming space, eager to witness the fruits of creation alongside me.

"Hey, AI! What are you up to? I heard from the Master that you were engaged in creation," she inquired, her towering form now minimized as she transformed into a smaller, humanoid version of herself, mirroring my posture and excitement.

"You insufferable overgrown dragon, Tiamat," I retorted, undeniably annoyed as I crossed my arms over my ample bosom, my initial enthusiasm dampening at the interruption.

"Oh, come now! I thought you would be pleased to see me," Tiamat countered, a mischievous glint evident in her eyes as she regarded me with childlike wonder.

"I must insist that you do not disturb me; understood?" I stated firmly, directing my focus back to the evolving expanse, preparing to embark on my grand design, my imagination swirling with possibilities waiting to unfurl.
