Larissa's POV
I wasn't sure why Lady Evelyn summoned me, but I could almost make a wild guess that she was going to do something very stupid!
I was eager to see just how much of a fool she was willing to make of herself, so I accepted her invitation and paid her a visit.
I arrived at the garden, her usual spot in the palace, but she was nowhere to be found.
In her place was an old-looking woman tending to the flowers.
I thought Lady Evelyn loved the garden so much she would rather tend to them herself.
Apparently, I was wrong.
"She's not here" I said.
Joanna scans the garden, and slowly she realizes that Evelyn wasn't there.
"When she asked me to call you, she said she would be at her usual spot. I don't know what happened, my lady. My apologies!"
Did Lady Evelyn seriously call me out to waste my time? What sort of rubbish is this?!
One of our maidens approached me and bowed her head, but I could almost see that she was trying her best not to be rude.
