"What does that mean? I am not quite getting you Joanna " I asked impatiently.
She was trying to help me get ready, but the young girl just went on and on about what she had learned overnight!
My night has been nothing short of beautiful with the Alpha. We spent it cuddling and staring into each other's eyes until we fell asleep…
I was awake on the brighter side until Joanna came to get me ready for the day.
She seemed to have learned something from the maid's quarters, and she was so eager to tell me..
"I'm sorry my lady! Okay! I'll try to slow down"
Nice! Finally, she was going to speak a language I would understand.
"I heard that Lady Evelyn is now a lady-in-waiting. I heard the council ask that she should remain in the palace in case the Alpha decides to change his mind."
I was stunned, but that also meant that Evelyn was going to be staying in the palace, and she wasn't leaving anytime soon..
This was only going to get even more interesting!
