Larissa's POV
Just as the Alpha instructed, Joanna got me ready for the meeting.
I wasn't sure what to expect but I trusted Joanna's judgement to get me into the appropriate wear for the meeting.
I have no idea how to feel about this" I said to Joanna.
"There's no reason to be afraid, my lad. It is just a meeting between the ladies-in-waiting and court women. It's usually just sipping tea, having pastries, and a little bit of gossip here and there"
"How are the ladies-in-waiting like? I don't think I have ever come across any one of them"
"It's because they have a separate court. The court is on the left side of the palace and they don't come to the right unless the Alpha requested their presence"
"I'm still yet to understand why he has so many ladies-in-waiting! What is their duty anyway?"
I asked out of curiosity.
My understanding of the lady in waiting is usually a line-up of women who are there to satisfy the Alpha in bed..
