"Hey, so I'd really appreciate it if you'd just stop dragging your ass everywhere that I go—" Rexine started to complain, all before seeing the driver's face; Perry. Rexine had a knife in her hand, just in case since she didn't know what to expect.
"Rexine?" Perry felt herself crack a small smile, despite Rexine leaving on her own.
"P… Perry?! Is that really you??" Rexine exclaimed, her eyes widening slightly.
"...What are you doing out here?" Perry asked, looking up at the female.
"Oh, well, I could ask you the same thing…" Rexine replied. It felt as if they never even got off on bad terms, seeing each other again.
The others in the van, meaning; Axelle, Waylen and Eli who have never even seen this blue haired woman, but heard of her seemed pretty puzzled, considering the terms they got off on.
"Oi… I thought she was the one who left you people?" Eli chimed in, though not too loudly.
Rexine's eyes slowly drifted, looking over at Eli in the passenger seat.
"Hiya mate." Eli said a bit awkwardly. Rexine didn't say anything for a moment.
"Hello.." she then replied quietly.
"Who's that, Perry?" Rexine proceeded to whisper to Perry.
Perry sighed softly. "Long story."
"Can we.. talk? I think we have to clear some things up from where we left off."
Rexine pleaded, looking at Perry.
"...Yeah.. Uh, why don't we settle somewhere first?" Perry suggested, looking ahead, noticing what would probably be Maverick's figure in Rexine's van.
"Just follow me, I was already heading somewhere." Rexine nodded, walking back to her own van, and followed Perry as she suggested.
Perry took the directions from Eli once again, starting to drive back towards the shop they were originally heading to.
"Turn left here, you'll see a dodgy blue sign with the spelling all cocked up." Eli stated, pointing to the left.
Perry listened, turning to the left. She indeed saw a funky blue sign with a misspelling.
Perry pulled up beside the sidewalk, and got out. The other followed suit, getting out of the van as well. When Rexine got out, she was quite stunned that Perry and the other three managed to get a whopping 3 whole members.
"Let's go inside?" Rexine said, glancing at Maverick, then back at Perry. Maverick stayed uncharacteristically quiet, yet observed.
"Yeah." Perry replied, taking the lead, being first to enter. The bell chimed softly, as Perry took in the sight of the wrecked place.
Blood everywhere as expected. Perry glanced back, expecting to see Eli, but saw Christian. Perry didn't say anything to him, instead called for Eli.
Eli walked over.
"What, mate?" he whispered to Perry.
"Where's the storage room you were talking about?"
"Over there." Eli pointed towards a shabby, old, rusted door.
Perry sighed, yet, led the way there.
After letting everyone inside, the last one inside being Maverick, closed the door.
"So, to start off, we're… sorry. We should've never doubted you, when we thought you four were lying to us." Rexine started, and was about to go on. But Maverick being Maverick, interrupted.
"Hey, where's the nerdy dude? You know… Noah or something?" Maverick asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh… you mean Nicole, right?..." Christian confirmed, leaning himself against the wall.
"Yeah-uh, that's what I just said!" Maverick lied, answering quickly.
"No, …Maverick, that's not—" Rexine sighed, not bothering to continue her sentence any further. "Whatever, that's not important right now."
But then, this time, Rexine stopped herself from speaking. "Hold on. Where is Nicole?"
Ruby let out a quiet chuckle. A weak, pretty upset one. "He… left. For the same reason Ivy did. But mostly justice for his family, according to Perry." Ruby replied, explaining solemnly.
"Yeah, Ruby's right. Nicole left.. For that exact reason. God knows why, because even as his best friend, I really don't know." Perry spoke up, sighing.
"No matter the case, it really doesn't matter right now, does it?" she added.
"I need to talk to Perry. Preferably, alone." Rexine stated. Eli then pointed over to a door a few feet away.
"The two of you can go in there," he suggested. Perry glanced over, and then over at Rexine, meeting her gaze. Rexine gave a subtle nod. On mutual agreement, they both entered the room, leaving the rest outside.
"They sure seem to have some secret businesses to talk about…" Ruby muttered, glancing over at the now closed door.
"They're planning something, I'll put my bets on it." Maverick proudly announced, smugly smirking.
"We can hear you!" Rexine yelled, and Maverick just rolled his eyes.
"Doesn't change my mind." Maverick said a bit quieter.
"I can still hear you!!" Rexine shouted out again.
Maverick ultimately gave up, staying quiet for a moment. "So what?!" He yelled.
"We're discussing something, so shut that big mouth of yours, Mave!!!" Rexine yelled again, irritatedly.
Maverick couldn't believe Rexine just said that to him. He barged open the door, glaring straight at Rexine.
"Did you just call me a big back?!?!"
"What?! No! I said shut that big mouth of yours. I didn't call you a—" Rexine cut herself off, letting out an irritated sigh.
"Just leave, gosh, Maverick." Rexine said, pushing him out and slamming the door shut once again.
"Geez.." Maverick mumbled under his breath after being pushed out, huffing.
"Well, you still sure do know how to get on people's nerves, Mave. Like always." Ruby commented, after watching the whole ordeal between him and Rexine.
"I do not! That was Rex just being her usual hotheaded self!" Maverick crossed his arms defensively, refusing to make eye contact.
"So.. who are they?" Maverick asked after a long moment of silence, pointing fingers at Axelle and Waylen.
Christian sighed, pointing at Axelle first. "That's Axelle. The other one.. Uh Wayne?" Christian struggled to remember Waylen's name.
"It's Waylen." he eventually spoke up, glancing over Maverick and his pretty unique appearance. Maverick made a face… but stayed silent.
The silence was heavy.
"WHAT THE @#&! ??" Perry's yell cut through the uncomfortable silence, catching everyone's attention.
