Chapter 9
David
"No no sir, please don't kill me. Alessia is under the bed, is that the girl you're looking for?" That pathetic doctor said. Mandy then ran to kneel on the floor and looked under the bed to see Alessia. I looked at the doctor and said
"What were you doing in a locked room with her? Answer me honestly or I'll break your bones"
"Sir Alessia had come for the tests of..."
"Blood, yes blood test only" Mandy interrupted. I turned to the doctor and asked
"Is that true?"
He nods. In no time I took my phone from my pocket and called the police, that doctor tried to stop me but what he had done was unacceptable. Within time the police had already arrived and I said
"Arrest him now"
"Sure sir" they responded. I quickly carried Alessia and headed towards the car, Mandy was following behind and she was the one who arrived and opened the door, I quickly placed Alessia on the seat, then I laid her down and took off my jacket and covered her, I looked at Mandy and said
" Sit in front"
" Okay Sir..."
"There's no need to address me with such respect Mandy. You can even call me by my name I don't mind" I said. She laughed while entering the car.
"Take us home, she'll be fine" Mandy added
"No, I'll take you to my place. I want to make sure when she wakes up, she'll get a good treatment okay. Can I ask you something?"
"Yes please what's wrong?"
"Why did Alessia want a blood test? Any reasonable reasons for that?"
"I well, me, her and my mother. It's part of our culture to get tested every time, at least twice per month"
"What kind of a culture is that?"
"Well I don't know my mother" she replied....
Mandy
I took a deep breath, still in shock "what if David had known that she was pregnant? Definitely when Alessia woke up she wasn't gonna believe me that I wasn't the one telling him about her pregnancy, it was the doctor, all thanks to God, I've managed to lie that it was a blood test. As David was driving I looked at him and saw a tattoo rose on his neck and asked
"You love tattoos that much? Anyway your tattoo is very beautiful"
"Thank you Mandy. So where are you studying? Don't you wish to study at royal schools or schools that are expensive but are the best ones?" He asked. I remained quiet for a moment and then said
"I wish to but we can't afford those kind of schools. So I'm proud of where I am learning. But now I'm not going to school because of my mom and now it's Alessia again"
"That's sad news, but if you get a chance to learn in a royal school would you say yes?"
"Well I would say yes maybe, but remember I have a mom. She'll be the one deciding those kinds of decisions"
"I understand..."
"So you live alone or with your parents?" I asked him
"I stay with my parents, Mr Maynard, Mrs Katie, my daughter Ariel..."
I cut him off
"Ohhh my goodness... You never told me you have a baby? And his mom?"
"She passed away"
"Oh I'm sorry"
We never stopped talking and I never stopped asking questions until we reached a place that looked like a small town, I turned at him and asked
"What is this?"
"This is where I stay, this is my mansion"
"A mansion? It looks like a town. It's very big... Holy damn how many rooms does your mansion have David?"
" Ummm if I'm not mistaken it's 203 rooms, both upstairs and downstairs"
" 203 rooms Jesus it's like a town. Wow I've never seen a mansion as beautiful as this one. When we go inside can I please take some pictures? I want to show my friends?"
"Sure no problem" he replied. I left speechless, I couldn't say a word, all I could do was to admire the mansion. Seems like David was richer than I thought, I just thought he had normal money just like Ethan, but damn he was richest. I looked at him and asked
"So you're a billionaire? How much worth do you have?"
"Ummm nearly 45 billion dollars. Yeah I have my own money" he replied. Before I could ask anything else, I saw the guards at the gate and I asked
"Ohhh you have guards too?"
"Yes, close the gate, then there are some inside and maids as well"
"How many maids do you have?"
"I don't know, only my mother knows" he replied. He drives his car inside. When I entered inside the gate, I felt that the fresh air I was breathing was different from the outside, the weather was cool, neither cold nor hot, the greenish outside got my attention. He parked his car in the garage
He opened his car door to where Alessia was laying and lifted her up and headed inside, I was left standing looking everywhere as my eyes were not satisfied.
As I was still standing I heard some girls talking, seems like they were maids
" Who is that girl in David's arms? Pinky is inside, the real drama is going to start"
" Look at that one, seems like she doesn't know a mansion"
Ohhh definitely people they gossip, I ran after David inside but when I reached door I couldn't see him, there were many doors I looked at the guards who were there and asked
" I'm looking for David, which way did he take?" I asked them one of the guard laughed and started making fun of me and said
" Poor thing, she's now lost. She must have grown up in the village. What's your name?" Before I could answer, another guard came and grabbed my hand and said
" Let me take you to Mr David, call him Mr do you understand me?"
No!!!! This one was about to mislead me worse. I then removed his hand from mine and said
" Leave me alone, you are really annoying employees. If I get a chance to work here, I will put you all in the right direction" I saw everyone was silent, standing like they were about to sing the national anthem, I turned back to look who it was they saw, made them all freeze, then I saw a young girl, wearing a crown. The girl walked closer to me and asked
"Are you Mandy?" I nod
"I am Ariel, dad's princess. Come with me to my room, by the way I saw my dad in his bedroom and he ordered me to look for you?"
"Yes yes thank you princess but these people they were bullying me?"
"Which ones?" She asked
"The one with red hair, and the other one" I said. Princess Ariel looked at them and said
"If you do that again, I'll file a complaint to my dad or grandpa Mr Maynard and you'll be fired. We don't take such behavior in here, this is my father's house. Everyone should be treated well. Do you understand me?"
"Yes princess..."
"Good.. Mandy come follow me. Wanna be friends?" The little girl asked
I smiled a bit, deep down I was worried about Alessia, so I stopped her and said
"First can I see my Aunty, Alessia. If she's fine then we'll play together"
"My dad and maids are taking care of her, but if you insist then of course let's go together"
"Sure Princess"
"No, call me Ariel, we can be friends. And I don't allow my friends to call me princess"
"Well heard daddy's girl"
Mrs Katie
"Ma'am I just can't believe this, I can feel like I wanna kill myself. Should I drink poison so that your son will see how much I love him?"
"Calm down Pinky what happened?" I asked her, as she was already sweating and boiling with anger.
"I saw David carrying a girl in his arms, he went with her to his room. Ma'am I'm so heartbroken"
"A girl? Calm down let me go and talk to him. I haven't seen him" I was surprised with her words, I took my fan and my wine and headed to David's room, as I was walking I saw my granddaughter with this strange girl and I asked
"Who is she?"
"A new friend..."
"I'll deal with that later, where is your father?"
"In his room"
"Fantastic"

"But ma'am, we can't sell you this house, because someone already paid for it. Why do you want to live near the Maynard mansion? You can go somewhere else and buy a house there or a mansion there"
"Why I want to live close to that family it's none of your business.. number two, I said I want this little mansion here next to Maynard's, the person who bought this mansion before me should get his money back and I'll add extra too or else let him be killed then the house will be mine. So Mr Gilbert, think straight, should I kill the buyer or he should take his pathetic money and get lost...."
