It started with a text.
Zeyan opened his phone during a meeting and saw one from Yinyin:
🩷 "I need to tell you something… something real."
He froze.
Ten seconds later, she walked into the meeting room.
In pink.
Holding bubble tea.
And with Ji Chenrui behind her.
His eye twitched.
"Sorry to interrupt," she chirped. "Just something emotional I need to get off my chest."
"Not now," Zeyan snapped.
"Too late," she said sweetly. "It's about my heart."
The entire room leaned forward.
Zeyan: "Don't."
Chenrui: "Let her speak."
Yinyin sighed dramatically.
"I think… I'm in love."
Zeyan blinked.
"I'm in love with… someone who makes me laugh.
Who listens.
Who calls me by my name and not 'stop talking.'
Someone who makes me feel seen."
She turned to Chenrui with soft eyes.
The room went SILENT.
Zeyan dropped his pen.
Zeyan Loses All Chill
"Enough," he said sharply, standing.
She blinked. "I'm pouring my heart out."
"Don't play with me, Yinyin."
Her voice turned innocent. "Why? Jealous?"
Chenrui raised an eyebrow. "She's free to feel what she feels, Zeyan."
Zeyan walked over. Slowly. Dead calm.
He stopped inches from her and said, low and lethal:
"Say you love him one more time.
And I'll kiss you so hard you forget what language you speak."
Her eyes widened.
The room GASPED.
Even Chenrui stepped back.
Yinyin blinked. "Wow. Possessive CEO unlocked."
Then He Did It
Without another word, he grabbed her waist and kissed her right there —
in front of the board, Chenrui, and half the staff.
It wasn't gentle.
It was war.
It was fire and ice and everything he'd been holding back for weeks.
When he pulled away, her lips were red and her knees were… not cooperating.
He looked at her, voice quiet.
"You want to pretend feelings? Fine.
But don't forget who your heart reacts to."
And then he turned and walked out.
The door slammed behind him.
Meanwhile…
Chenrui handed her the bubble tea.
"…That was hot."
Yinyin sipped it, dazed.
"…Why am I blushing?
This wasn't supposed to backfire."
