I paced around the living area, with my heart throbbing in its cage.
I was in turmoil, as I hadn't gotten to speak about myself to the boys, and now this? The conspiracy about their mother's death had resurfaced so suddenly.
"How do we certify this is true?" I stopped, as my eyes narrowed on the boys.
Shawn bit on his lips as he sank on the couch, "There is no way we can ascertain that. The source didn't reveal itself, so we can't go after anyone."
"But…" Ethan frowned. "What if this is just a ploy to discredit Darius? Think about it…"
He sat beside Shawn while Uriel and I crowded around them, "Darius saved Davina and helped us escape the pack."
"If he harbored such ill intention toward us, this wouldn't happen right?"
"Tsk!" I clicked my tongue almost immediately but it was Seraphine in control now. "How can you be so dumb to just trust anyone?"
Their heads snapped in my direction, with their brows raised in surprise.
