"There was a beginning. But not for him."
– Unknown Morph Architect Log, Entry 000-Null
Scene 1: Unknown Timeline – Subterranean Lab
Years before the Grid fractured…
Deep beneath Timeline Epsilon-9, an experimental facility pulsed with forbidden Morph energy. In the coldest chamber, scientists operated on something that wasn't alive—yet refused to die.
A failed prototype.
"Codename: Null Omega," said Doctor Vesh. "A synthetic ranger created from fragmented timelines and corrupted DNA. Designed to be emotionless. Eternal."
The room trembled.
The machine screamed.
Within a pod, a being opened its eyes. Pale. Smooth. Almost human—but not.
"Emotion… irrelevant."
"Purpose… unclear."
"Why am I?"
It wasn't supposed to speak.
Null Omega was designed to obey, not question.
But it was already evolving.
Scene 2: Cipher Arrives
After his fall, Cipher sought out weapons. Tools. Minds unclouded by emotion.
He found the Null prototype chained and forgotten.
"You feel nothing?" Cipher asked.
"I feel… abandoned."
Cipher smiled.
"Then we're the same."
He rewired Null Omega's core—erasing its fractured self. Giving it only one directive:
"Correct the Grid. End the flawed."
Null Omega didn't resist.
It simply stood.
And for the first time in the Grid's long existence, a synthetic enforcer was born—perfectly loyal to Cipher, but haunted by echoes of what it could've been.
