Nelly lifts her foot and takes off her heel. She swallows the lump in her throat and throws her high heel at Kohlrabi.
"Again?" Kohlrabi remained standing, not doing anything.
The high heel explodes. Nelly looks at Nicholas, and he starts to run away while dragging her through holding her wrist.
"Let's go!" Nicholas yelled
Kohlrabi steps out of the smoke and looks around. The sports car moves backward and accelerates away from the parking lot.
Kohlrabi's eyes darken, and he begins to raise his hands. Nelly looks beside her, and Nicholas is controlling the steering wheel while pressing his foot on the gas pedal.
"Woah! I didn't know that you could drive!"
Nicholas glances at her, panic written all over his face. "Juan used to teach me, and I only drive trucks. Let's hurry! That guy we're facing is nuts!"
The ground trembles and trees burst from the road, and Nicholas moves the sports car away from the emerging trees. Every car collides against the trees, and the other vehicles stop moving; drifting against each other.
Nicholas speaks in his mind. "This feels weird. I can sense those things coming out of the ground."
"Look out!" Nelly shouted.
A tree emerges from the ground right in front of the road but Nicholas stirs the steering wheel aggressively; moving the sports car away from the tree.
The car collides with a wall of trees. Nicholas groans and Nelly looks around with her hand covering her head.
Kohlrabi is levitating high above the ground. His eyes feasted upon the sight of trees that sprouted from the road, and immobilized cars.
"A sight of destruction. But it can't be called 'destruction' if I don't use any destructive feats."
Kohlrabi channels his energy into his index finger. The energy appears to be yellow, and it accumulates on his index finger, and he expands its size.
Nelly drags herself to the passenger's seat. She lifts the cushion and brings out a bazooka. She kicks the door of her sports car and steps out.
"What are you doing?!" Nicholas stepped out of the car.
Nelly smirks and fires a missile. The missile flies toward Kohlrabi, and a big explosion occurs as Nicholas is put to a halt while his eyes widen.
"She's crazy!" Nicholas shouted.
Nelly turns around to face him. Her eyes are sparkling and filled with pride, and she smiles. "That's how I'm crazy to protect you!"
Nicholas grabs her wrist. "Let's go! While he's blind for a second!"
"BASTARDS!" Kohlrabi flew down to Nicholas and Nelly.
Yellow energy covers his entire form. Everything goes slow in Nicholas' eyes, and he turns around, facing the blazing yellow eyes of Kohlrabi.
"I want to protect Nelly!"
Nicholas releases Nelly's wrist, and he rushes toward Kohlrabi. Nicholas clenches his fist and lunges it towards Kohlrabi as his brown eyes turn green. Nelly's eyes are fixated on Nicholas as she sees him approaching Kohlrabi with his back facing her.
"YOU FUCKER!" Nicholas yelled.
"BRING IT ON!" Kohlrabi grinned, showing his sharp teeth.
Both of their fists collide, releasing strong bursts of wind everywhere. Nelly is covering her face with her hand as the air keeps pushing her away from her feet.
"What is going on?!" Nelly peeked across her hand.
She stares at him while he's standing steps from her. She lowers her hand from her face, and Nicholas' hands lower.
"Hey, Nicholas?" Nelly's breath shook while she was making steps toward him.
Nicholas is raised into the air by Kohlrabi. He smirks and pulls his body away from his sharp wooden claws. Kohlrabi throws Nicholas away, sending him crashing against the nearest suspended vehicle.
"I forgot, we have other methods to achieve our objective."
Kohlrabi sets off from the ground, flying away while Nelly is shaking Nicholas' body while patting his face; his eyes are closed, and his mouth is open.
Nelly's eyes are narrowing, and her tears are flowing in a gentle stream down to her chin. "N-Nicholas! Wake up, please!"
She looks down at his body, and five small holes are visible on his abdomen with a huge amount of blood flowing out.
His eyes open a bit, his sight is blurry but he smiles a bit. "N-Nelly… I'm happy to have you."
Tears flow from her eyes as she shakes his jawline. "NO! NICHOLAS! BABY!"
She grabs his hand with her other hand but his hand slips from her palm as his eyes shut down.
