After the gender reveal party and the joy that filled the place, everyone began to wind down after a long, emotion-filled day. But Mike, who couldn't wait any longer, had a completely different plan for the night.
In the calm atmosphere, he approached Lara, slipping his hand into his pocket where the carefully chosen ring was hidden. With a warm smile, he said, "How about we step outside for a bit? The weather's nice, and I think I need some fresh air."
She eyed him suspiciously but didn't resist. "Alright, but don't go planning something crazy, as usual."
He chuckled lightly. "Me? Crazy? Lara, please. I'm the most calm and composed man on this planet."
She raised an eyebrow sarcastically but followed him anyway, unaware that tonight would be unlike any night before.
The spot Mike had chosen was enchanting—a small garden within Jacob's estate, lit by soft lanterns and surrounded by natural romance. Standing there beside her, he looked up at the sky and said softly, "Lara, you know I'm not the best at expressing emotions, but tonight, I'll try."
She stared at him, puzzled, and before she could speak, he paused, locking eyes with her, his expression suddenly serious. "Mike, what is it? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Then, out of nowhere, he pointed to the sky. "What do you think of the stars?"
She looked up, and to her shock, drones lit up the night, forming glowing letters that read:
"Will you marry me?"
She gasped in disbelief, turning toward Mike only to find him down on one knee, holding out the ring, his confident smile touched by the nervous shimmer in his eyes.
"Lara, I've never believed in perfection, but when it comes to you, I know you're the most perfect thing that's ever happened to me. Will you stay by my side forever?"
Covering her mouth with her hands, her heart raced with emotions—a whirlwind of shock and joy. And just as she was about to answer, her foot slipped slightly on the uneven grass, and she stumbled right into his arms.
He caught her quickly, laughing, "Well, I guess fate just said you're mine before you could even say it!"
She laughed through her tears, then whispered shyly, "Yes, Mike... I will."
With a beaming smile, he gently kissed her forehead. As he slid the ring onto her finger, fireworks burst in the sky, adding even more magic to the moment.
Still in his arms, Lara looked up at him and whispered, "I can't believe you did all this..."
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "For the love of my life? I'd do anything."
And that night, nothing was more beautiful than the sky that witnessed their eternal promise.
