"HELPPPP MEEEEEE I DONTTT WANT TO DIE AGAIN." Aiden shouted.
The sand worm inches closer and closer.
To the point that it's centimeters away from Aiden.
It lunged at him.
But Aiden channeled aura in his legs.
Making him avoid the attack just in time.
But there's no way he can beat it without a weapon.
There's a limit to his martial arts.
That's when in the corner of his eyes.
He sees a camp.
A big one at that.
And then.
He saw people coming out of the camp.
Real people.
He started screaming to attract their attention.
"HELPPP MEEEEEEEEEEE" Aiden screamed.
"Did I just hear a scream?" Bandit #1 said.
"Yeah, same here." Bandit #2 said.
"Wait, what is that I see in the distance?" Bandit #3 said.
"Oh wait, isn't a person running straight at us?" Bandit #2 said.
"Perfect, I was just fantasising about beating someone to a pulp." Bandit #1 said.
"What's going on here, wait a minute is that a person running straight toward us with a sand worm right on his tail?" The bandit leader said.
"Yeah, it seems like it." Bandit #3 said.
"Wait a sand worm? Aren't we supposed to run away then?" Bandit #2 said.
The bandits sprinted away from harm's way.
Except the bandit leader that wanted to gather some belongings of his.
Aiden just passed him.
"Run! What are you waiting for!" Aiden shouted.
But he fell on death's ears.
The sand worm appeared from under where the bandit leader was.
And devoured him whole.
Erasing his existence.
"Welp, I told him to run away."
He started catching up with the other bandits.
"You gotta run faster if you want to survive." Aiden mumbled.
"I've got a better way." Bandit #1 said
He pushes bandit #2 off balance, resulting in him tripping.
And that gives just enough time for them to hide from the sand worm's presence, in a cave they found seconds ago.
"So, why did you attack us with an entire 700ft worm?" Bandit #2 said.
"Oh no, you got it wrong, I was merely trying to outrun the worm, and by coincidence I met you guys." Aiden said.
"Well too bad for you, we are bandits, and we don't forgive anyone!" Bandit #1 said, while charging towards Aiden with a machete.
Aiden sighed, ducked, delivering a powerful punch to the gut, then an uppercut to the jaw.
Leaving him unconscious on the ground.
"What? Are you going to just stand there?" Aiden said while picking up the fallen machete."Ooo, shiny."
"Do you really expect me to risk my life fighting someone that could defeat my older brother in just 2 seconds?" Bandit #2 said.
"You got a fair point there, but I'm not leaving you alone. Tell me the nearest inhabited zone here."
"Well I don't know, I just follow my brothers."
The scene cuts to Aiden beating the crap out of the bandit.
"You dare lie to me?"
"Stop, stop, it's hurt, it's hurt!" Bandit #2 cried in pain.
"Fine, fine I'll tell you where it is, just stop hitting me."
"If you said in the beginning I wouldn't have ruined your face for the rest of your life." Aiden grumbled.
"Ugh, the village is just about 2 hours away from here, just head north, and eventually you'll find it." Bandit #2 grumbled.
"Are you sure about that, because if I find you lying, then I won't spare you next time."
"I'm not, I'm not, I swear!" Bandit #2 said
"Well you heard me, if i dont find a village by the next two hours of walking. Then I'm coming back, and killing you on the spot."
And with that. Aiden leaves the cave with a machete on his back.
2 hours passed.
He hadn't gotten attacked by anything.
It's almost 7am.
"I knew that bastard was lying!" He grumbled.
"Well, all those threats were empty ones. I'm not going back there!"
Another hour passed.
And now, he actually sees a village in the distance, covered with fog.
"Oh, so he wasn't actually lying."
He reaches the gate.
Two armed guards block with their swords.
"State your reason for visiting village ermador." The two guards said in unison.
"Oh, me? I'm just trying to find food to eat."
"We do not open the gate to beggars like you. Head back to where you came from, before we change our mind and kill you."
"Sorry, but I can't. I just found this village with luck, nothing else."
"Death, it is. You have chosen death."
Guard number 1 lunges toward Aiden.
But Aiden managed to sidestep, countering with an awkward slash he saw in a movie when he was a kid.
But it didn't do anything.
In fact, it only angered the guards.
Guard number #2 steps up to defend his ally. Delivering a powerful stab to Aiden, that might have been lethal if not for him ducking under it.
Aiden, now that he is under his opponent, takes his chance to inflict a deep wound on the enemy's stomach.
Succeeding in it.
Guard #2 is now clutching his stomach. Crying in pain.
Guard #1 takes advantage of the situation, delivering a slash towards Aiden's liver.
But he missed, only managing to inflict a small wound on Aiden's right side.
"Ugh, if i hadn't dodged that, i might've died!"
Aiden drops his machete.
Taking a taekwondo stance.
Red aura envelopping his lead shin.
He charges with a jab.
Successfully tricking the enemy with a feint.
He switches to an axe kick at the last second.
Managing to land a beautiful kick on the guard's waist, slamming him with the gate behind him.
"I warned you, but you didn't listen. Next time you should've listened instead of mindlessly attacking."
The 1st guard stands up.
"You thought I was done? I swore with my life to protect this land."
He takes off his armor.
"These pieces of metal were just a burden anyway."
Then he lunged towards Aiden, smiling like a maniac.
