Aiden bites his thumb, making blood ooze out.

Aiden's face twitches slightly.
But he still obeyed his command.
Outside the door, were his new comrades.
"So how did the contract go?" Ryker said.
"Pretty great."
"Did you even read its contents?" Elara said.
"No need to."
"Oh… You should've read that, let's just forget about this matter and move on to continue our mission." Thaddeus said.
"What mission?"
"You'll see it yourself soon." Ryker said.
The scene cuts to them leaving the village.
"Do we really have to go back to the desert?" Aiden mumbled.
"The creature we're hunting lives here, so yeah, we have to roam the desert searching for it, just watch out for vibrations under your feet." Thaddeus said.
"Vibrations, are they talking about the sand worm I encountered just hours ago?
1 Hour passed.
"How much more distance do we have to cross? I'm starting to get tired, my expertise was never walking large distances…" Selwyn mumbled.
"Oh, we're almost there, if you'd like to, I can give you a piggyback so you can conserve your energy." Thaddeus said.
"That'd be helpful."
Thaddeus drops to his knees, making it easier for Selwyn to climb up his back, she proceeds to climb up his back.
"Do they normally do that?"
2 hours passed.
"Just how much more are we go–"
"Why did you suddenly cut off?" Ryker said.
"Shh, I'm feeling something underground. Aiden said.
Suddenly a giant sand worm shoots up to the sky straight from the ground.
Everyone's attention gets caught up, eyes wide open.
"That's the one we're supposed to hunt, if you get injured, stay behind." Elara said.
Ryker channels his crimson aura on his feet. Jumping to the worm's eye level.
Pulling out his sword.
Massive energy cracks out.
He then shoots it towards the worm.
No damage. It was just a tickle for the sand creature.
Thaddeus drops Selwyn to the ground, waking up.
Elara sprints towards the worm creature.
Cyan aura flowing around her unsheathed blade.
She slashes, using her signature skill, "Whirlpool."
Water comes out of nowhere, trapping the worm in a massive water tornado.
"I can't let them have all the fun." Aiden chuckles.
He channels his red aura on both his feet and arms, primarily for gripping strength.
Ryker jumps onto the worm's head.
Stabbing right in its skull.
But his sword got stuck, he couldn't pull it out.
"Ugh, I forgot that this worm can regenerate, good thing I brought multiple swords.
He then jumps off the worm, as its nose dives to the sandy ground.
"Don't get distracted, it can pop up at any moment." Selwyn said.
"I know, I have some history with this creature. I'm not as braindead as I seem." Aiden grumbled.
"Seems like you know your own insecurities" Ryker chuckled.
Suddenly, the worms devour the ground Thaddeus was just standing on, devouring him in the process.
Aiden was flabbergasted.
But everyone else was calm, like this happened multiples times before.
"Aren't you going to save him?" Aiden said worriedly.
"Oh don't worry, he'll get out of it in any second now." Elara replied.
"Maybe we shou-" Aiden didn't get to finish his words.
As massive wind energy comes out of the worm's mouth, Thaddeus is in the center of it.
"Playing time is over." Ryker said as he charged towards the worm's stomach.
Energy even stronger than before comes out of his blade.
Making it bright red.
With one slash.
A huge gash appears on the creature's body.
Not shortly after.
Selwyn jumps straight in the action.
Floating in the wind.
White particles surrounding her.
"Take this!" She said, massive white energy composed of particles comes out from a portal behind her that just materialized a second ago.
It left a huge crater on the sand creature's body, but it wasn't enough to finish it off.
It again dives underground.
Now leaving huge vibrations, coming out and in fast.
As if it uses its special ability.
"Thaddeus you know what to do." Elara said.
Thaddeus nods his head as he places his palms on the vibrating ground.
Blood comes out of his nose.
As the sand slowly disperses.
The worm appears, carried by Thaddeus's winds.
But not leaving a moment to spare.
Elara summons multiple tornados heading towards the worm.
The pressure created by the tornados rips through the creature's body.
Leaving it half-dead.
"You can deal the finishing blow." Ryker said.
"You'd let me do that? Leave it to me!" Aiden replied, charging towards the worm with red aura envelopping his right foot.
He suddenly switches his footing.
